NYA/SEA Rematch

The New York Americans will face off against the Seattle Bears for the second straight year in the VHL's 2nd round of playoffs. Last year, the Bears had a dominant regular season, however, fell extremely short in the playoffs losing to the Americans in 5 games to watch them go all the way to be crowned the champions. This year, the season was a little tighter and everyone was a little closer. The Bears have a different roster and we see a couple other teams competing who were nowhere near the mark last season. With the games likely to be simmed today, VHL Media approached GM of the Bears, Blake Campbell, to discuss the upcoming series.

 

Likely will be another good match up. They're a heavy team upfront so we're going to be tested in that aspect. Our defense needs to stand strong and Holik needs to have the best games of his career coming up. We've pushed for a couple seasons to get to where we were last year and where we are this year. Could be the last year with all things considering so to go out on top is a huge goal of ours. Most of these guys have been on the roster for quite a few years and are deserving to bring a cup home to Seattle.

It will be like repetition, Seattle is on the horizon and I still cant see no competition.
