Fire Tortorella 2,653 Posted January 13, 2014 Share Posted January 13, 2014 Lynx Add Boychuk, Lien Over the past week, the Ottawa Lynx have made two more additions to their club in center Travis Boychuk and winger Mike Lien. Boychuk and Lien join fellow VHLM rookie Konstantin Azhishchenkov on the first line of the Lynx. Boychuk is a 6’, 190 lbs center hailing from Dvirkivschyna, Ukraine. His pass-first preference is a welcome addition to a Lynx club filled with scorers. Although Travis prefers to play center, he will play wing for the remainder of the season. Mike Lien is a 6’2”, 205 lbs winger from someplace in Canada. Although he has not put in many practice hours yet, Lien is a welcome addition to the team and should have a bright future in the VHL. These three rookies will be on a line together for the rest of the season. Although each player knows that their time in Ottawa may be short, they’re willing to put their best foot forward in order to improve their own game and hopefully propel the Lynx to the playoffs.
