Strength helps you actually knock players off pucks, instead of just hitting them. Not according to the attribute guide it doesn't. Strength only helps in preventing hits. I think McQueen is up to 98 checking already, so he'll most likely be at the top of the leader board in hits for the rest of his career. While Stevens is what he is at this point in his career, McQueen and XXX have no where to go but up and should make for an interesting comparison for the rest of their careers.
