Your BG lighting is nice and soft reflecting subtlety onto his helmet and there's realist looking shadowing on his face. The darker BG looms decent and offsets his jersey enough. Whatever you layered over his jersey with the triangular shapes and distortion of his jersey at the bottom gives a cool look. Your font I'm not so fond of but it contrasts and is bold.
