1. Toronto is in fire-sale mode. Do you think you'll be traded? 

• Most likely, I did a little scouting and LA, Chicago, Riga, and Malmo could use a little help on the wing. Although, I wonder if I didn't go in the first wave then people must not be interested.

2. What do you expect from the S80 and S81 drafts? 

• It'll be really interesting with the VHLE coming into play. I wonder if strategies will change because of it.

3. What do you think of our 'sim luck'?

• Odd! I never really understood the sim engine and this year only further confuses me. 

4. Which trade were you least expecting?

• I wouldn't say least expecting but I didn't think you would be able to get back as much as you did for Mikey Harris. It was a good move to recoup as much as possible considering the timing of the retirement in the original trade.

5. What would your reaction be if Toronto somehow made the playoffs? 

• I would be shocked. I am not hating the boost the personal stats but team success this season is going to be more difficult as conference opponents gather more talent. 

6. BONUSES are on the table next off season... what would you like from the player store?

• I have only been saving for depreciation fighters.

Didn't see a press conference for this week so I'll go to the last one I didn't answer.

 

1. Alberta and BC are going through 'historic' heat waves; 40c days and 20-25c nights. Does it get this hot where you live?

• That was some horrific heat in the northwest in July. That paired with what happened in Texas last winter, I am pretty afraid that we aren't prepared the other side of the extremes.  This last week was pretty insane in DC as far as heat goes and it definitely seems a hotter than when I was kid. Somewhat luckily, this region gets a bit of both extremes and we are prepared for it.

2. Do you have air conditioning? 

• Just bought a house in April actually and I don't have central air, just a handful of window units, but thankfully there are ceiling fans everywhere. It gets hot in here and I hope to put in something in a couple of years.

3. Do you celebrate national holidays like Canada's Day / Independence Day? 

• I usually do but it is also my anniversary, July 4th, so it's great to have the whole country launching fireworks for us.

4. Did you do anything this year... or are you planning on doing something this year?

• I am trying not to travel too much with the delta variant going around. I have some work trips planned in late September and I think they will be cancelled. 

5. Hotdogs over a camp fire or a barbeque? 

• Charcoal BBQ is the best for hotdogs.

6. What goes best with hot dogs? Chips and pop?

• I think it is all about mood when it comes to hot dogs. Just a couple of chili cheese dogs and a beer is usually my go to.

4. I went camping once and started doing a bunch of hobbies to keep myself busy and sane.

There has been better topics but I look forward to reading the articles regardless.

Very much so, yes.

1. What is your go-to side dish for any home prepared meal?

• That's a good question...I am a sucker for brussels sprouts with bacon on the side of any meal.

2. What is your go-to fast food order?

• Either Taco Bell with a crunchwrap supreme and some fiesta potatoes item at the least, or a spicy chicken sandwich from any place.

3. What do you think about this seasons theme week?

• I like it, the only critique is that it is a little generic. 

4. What do you think about Toronto's collection of draft picks? 

• It looks like a great way to start the rebuild. I hope that management is able to stay the course with the crop they are going to get from the firesale. 

5. Are you looking forward to the VHLE starting soon? 

• I think! I think that it will be successful at filling the talent gap when getting called up and expanding the universe. I almost wonder if an uncapped year in the VHLM, upping the cap limit in the VHLM, and added a couple of teams would have done the trick without the extra effort. All in all, I hope it does well.

6. Do you think we can play spoiler for a hopeful playoff team? 

• That is all I am looking forward to!

1. I’m really happy with some aspects of my player this season I like how much of a physical presence I can be and helping put up a few pint s makes me really happy :). But I am struggling a little bit on the defensive side

 

2.hm I would be happy with any new fren :3 I don’t really follow the draft tbh haha

 

3.there are so many players who produced and played really well :3 Lester, Vick, Reinhart, Han, Hogan I couldn’t really name a specific mvp just a lot of good players :3

5.I have confidence that our team will get better with prospects and free agents and I will protec and hit! :3

1. How do you think of your players performance this season? 

• I think Vick had a really solid year as far as personal achievement goes. I hope that they are at least on par with is expected with that much playing time.

2. Toronto didn't make the playoffs, but we're going to get a guaranteed top six pick. Who are you hoping we draft in the entry draft? 

• Toronto has a lot of picks most likely 3 in the top 10 which is great. I just hope Toronto gets 3 strong players to build that core.

3. Who do you think was our most valuable player this season? 

• Either Han or Clap. They stood in the way of a lot of shots.

4. Will you be cheering on any friends in the VHL this post-season? 

• Most teams have at least a friend on them so I can't pick one specifically.

5. What are your expectations for Toronto next season? 

• I think it'll most likely be another rough year from a team success perspective but year 2 will most likely have a semi-deep run. Years 3 and 4 will be when the success starts shining.

6. What sim engine would you use if VHL announced a popularity contest for any specific sim engine to replace STHS?

• FHM or ESHM. It would be so much fun to be able to watch our players and have more attributes/builds.

Just going back to an old and random PC for this week.

 

1. What is your favorite TV/Movie universe? 

• I'm not so into the DC/MCU content. For TV, I'll go with the Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul universe. For movies, let's do Mighty Ducks.

2. Who is your favorite superhero? 

• I liked reading the Defenders and Shield series as a kid with Daredevil and Luke Cage. Anything set there had a really good vibe to it.

3. What about your favorite villain? 

• Kingpen for the same reasons as above.

4. What do you like to do to occupy your free time? 

• This time of year its fantasy football 10000% of the time and a little golf.

5. Do you prefer grilled or toasted sandwiches? (Maybe neither?) 

• Almost always grilled sandwiches are the way to go

6. Do you have a favorite fast food restaurant? 

• Hard to go against McDonald's.

1.i followed it a bit i think i fought more in the tournament than i did in my entire career which i don't get i try and make a fighter who protecs and he never fights

 

2.i think its great that there is a new league and more room for people to grow :3

 

3.pick up some good pieces and keep the rebuild going :3

 

4.not really sure tbh maybe get some more tpe i wont be able to afford anything big

 

5.i hope to help protect the young ones and keep this team safe :3

• I didn't but I just looked back at the box scores and yikes! We had a couple of good games but mostly we get wrecked.

2. The VHLE just had their first ever set of sims... thoughts? 

• It was pretty cool to see such parity. Pretty much every game was competitive.

3. What do you expect from Toronto in the upcoming entry draft? 

• First, lots of players. I think Peace will get a good core of regens to carry this team in a couple of years.

4. If you remain on Toronto -- who have cap space for bonuses -- what would you use bonus money on?

• I'd love to stay and get some cash for dep fighters.

5. What do you anticipate for yourself next season?

• Literally no idea. This is my first time as an FA.

6. Who do you think goes first overall in the upcoming VHLE draft?

• I'm not sure, it'll be tricky to get someone who you know will earn and not be in the M but get over-earn to get out of the E.

1.sadly I have been extremely busy so I didn’t get to follow it at all

 

2.I think they’re great hopefully I get to play with some of them :3

We came together and dominated at all ends of the rink.  Most of us are young players, so we have an opportunity to grow together.

 

2. The Legion have a lot of rookie players making major contributions early this season, who do you think has the best shot at the Christian Stolzschweiger Trophy?

 

Kyle Peace, Harkat Mulds, Oskar Lindbergh and Otto Numminen have all been important players so far.

 

3. GM Rylan @Peace made several moves over the off-season, which one do you feel will have the biggest impact for Toronto?

 

I dont really know, mostly just drafting the right players and working hard to get all on the same page.

 

4. Which VHL team do you think has looked the most dangerous so far?

 

Us of course.  We are to feared now and for a long time.

 

5. You can add one VHL player of your choice to Toronto this season, who would it be and why?

 

Isabella Campell.  It's her last season so she could help bring us along and show us how to win more games.

 

6. What's your favorite appetizer?

 

Mozzarella sticks and arancini with marinara sauce, also snail with garlic butter and cheese au gratin!

1- I think the first two games were were stressed and when we calmed down we started to play well.

2-It would be hard not to say me but I think every rookie on our team have a decent shot at it.

3-All those trade were great and I think none of them are better than the others.

4- Our team by far. We are the most surprising team and we are in third place. On top of that, two or three wins were domination.

5-Probabely a high TPE defenceman because we only have 3 and it would be great if that defenceman can be over 500 TPE

6- By far chicken wigns.
