1. I absolutely love the league. The players, management, everything about it is so well structured and a lot of fun.

2. Newer players definitely have harder times picking up everything about the league, so maybe a more rookie friendly introduction and walk through of everything you can do here would be nice.

3. I have not read it because I did not know about it, but now that I do, I am absolutely going to read that.

4. I want to help the Reapers this season with scoring, whether it be from playmaking or goal scoring. I'm very excited about the opportunity given to me by Blade and can't wait to do my part for this team.

5. It's hard to ignore what Orion Slade has done for Minnesota. With his potential & point totals, along with his teams standings so far, they're absolutely my favorites for the Cup this year.

6b. The Reapers have incredible potential moving forward. The amount of young and skilled players that're coming up to prove their worth to the team show me that this team is hungry for a chance to prove they have what it takes to become contenders, and I am very excited to be apart of this system.

1. In the latter half of the season now and, while Halifax and Minnesota are quite a few points ahead, there is just 4 points separating 3rd and 7th, which of those five teams (Aces, Bulls, Lynx, Rush, Wild) do you think will finish highest at the end of the season?

HAL and MIN are the clear top two here, but for the next 5 teams, I think the front runners are probably the Aces and the Rush. So i'd rank them Aces, Rush, Lynx, Wild, Bulls, if I had to choose.

 

 

2. Since the last set of questions were asked, the World Juniors Rosters have been selected. What do you think about your nationalities chances at winning the tournament?

I was selected to Team Europe and I think we have a pretty decent shot at upsetting USA/CAN and winning the tournament. We have a lot of young prospects, but the potential of the team is really high. A lot of this WJC's Team Europe roster will be VHL superstars in the future.

 

 

3a. (If you made your World Juniors roster) Who would you consider the best player on your team?

Probably Codrick Past. A real gentleman of the game and a quality player. I hope to get some ice time with him, because he has a great breakout pass that I think would work well with my game as a forward.

 

 

4. Hunter Hearst Helmsley is currently leading the league in points and goals, do you think there's anyone who can stop him from leading in either come the end of the season?

Probably not. I like what he's done at NXT and I think he's underrated in terms of all-time wrestling greats. His runs in Degeneration X as well as the Corporation, are really underrated. A lot of people attribute the success of the Attitude Era to Austin and the Rock, but I think HHH played just as vital of a role.

 

 

5. Give a shout-out to one member of your team who has helped you out and why (maybe a member's player has helped your player perform well in the sim, a member who helped you with PT's, etc.)

I'll give a shout out to @cody73 . He's a good guy, is active in the LR, and embraces his role on the team. He's helped me by being defensively responsible on the ice, while always working hard imo.

 

 

6. Recommend either a video game or a movie for other members to play/watch and why you'd recommend it. 

I'm currently re-watching the Game of Thrones series, before the final season begins on April 14th. GoT is definitely one of, if not THE, greatest drama in the history of television. Even though watching season 1 to 7 takes like 4 IRL days, it's definitely worth the watch.... Either that, or THE HOLY MOUNTAIN.

I was not surprised to not make it onto my team's roster because I am so new to VHL that I am not developed enough.

I do not think anyone will pass him, he is very good and going 1st overall in my opinion.

Thrandauil is who I will give a shoutout, he has been very helpful because he gives me tips on what to do to become a better player in VHL.

A great game to play is Battlefield 5.

• Are you excited for the WJC? Yea, I just broke 200 TPE, so I'm thinking I should be able to help Team Asia with an upset or two during the tourney.
• Who are you rooting for and why? Well I predicted USA and I'm kinda TPE hungry and I'm from USA, but playing for Asia I'm rooting for them to upset a team or two along the way.
• Who do you think will win? I think USA will be able to come out on top, but the first tourney I witnessed while in the league really threw a lot of people for a loop, so you really never know til the STHS gods have their say.
• Do you sing your country's national anthem or just mouth the words? You best bet I'm belting out every word, too bad for my teammates next to me cause I have a squawk-box of a singing voice
• What team would you like to GM in the WJC? I would've loved the opportunity to GM my home nation of USA, but I like the direction the committee took with the new v. old take on the GM selection, the little things like that make it easier I think for a lot of people to accept the fact that they didn't make the cut when there are some apparent indicators or reasons they can see they were over looked or not choosen.
• What is your fav task to gain tpe and why?  I don't know if I can say I have a favorite, but I have gotten pretty good at GIMP since starting this league and downloading the program for my first signature and I'm starting to really get a feel for it, so I do really enjoy learning the program further and making cards and graphics.

It's getting even closers now. I think The Wild’s will make a big push right up to the end, but Vegas seems to be the most likely to finish 3rd.

The first games are a little concerning given the results, but as USA's rookie GM learns the ropes I think we will win it all.

Gritty is pretty scary, but also pretty good.

If you haven't seen it, Ice Guardians is a pretty cool hockey documentary about enforcers and fighting in hockey.

I think Ottawa will finish highest by the end. Although they traded Lynch and Kylrad they have been darkhorses all season long. I can really see them upsetting a few teams this season and although not winning, at least putting up a good fight.

USA is going to be extremely hard to beat, I think they are clearly the strongest team on paper. and in this league often times the strongest team on paper wins the championship. But my team Team Asia will put up a good fight. We are strong in the TPE department and I think we will definitely medal this season.

3a. (If you made your World Juniors roster) Who would you consider the best player on your team?

I'd have to say Chico Smeb is the strongest player on Team Asia. He put in hard work and has been well rested all season long only playing like 10 minutes per game on Minnesota. Look for him to be super fresh heading into the tournamant and dominant.

I don't think so, he's been so consistent all season long. With only 11 games to go I think he'll hold it down and finish the season in first in both points and goals. Although some of these guys from Minny are creeping up.

People say the new movie on Netflix "Birdbox" is bad, but honestly it was one of my favourite movies of the year, and my girlfriend agrees. I recommend it to anyone looking for a thriller to watch as it has a cool story and some good moments. "Us" was also really good if you feel like watching a movie in the cinema.

I think the bulls will finished the highest, they made a big trade getting Jack Lynch who was a monster on Ottawa and should do even better with the Bulls now

I think we have a good chance of winning with Team Europe, but both Canada and USA will be tough opponents

Everyone in the league has been very nice. The league seems well structured and with the VHLM Expansion it will only get better.

I am looking to get drafted in the early rounds. I would hope to be the staring goalie and gain some experience in the professional levels.

The GM would be getting a strong rookie goalie. Small frame but an agile game, looking to develop.

1) I really like the newest logo, the Malmo Nighthawks.
2) Going in the VHL draft and on a serious note, I want a GM who knows what he's doing and all I want is to play hockey and get them cups, yo.

I'll answer this as if I had a new player at the moment; the Philly Reapers.

Looking at their crop of picks for the next couple seasons they look to be a consistent contender.

Their GM is also one of the most dedicated to recruit development.

 

2. Is your player a blonde, brunette or redhead?

Brunette. I've used Patrice Bergeron as the NHL player in my personal sigs for a while now, almost since creation of Borwinn.

 

3. Weirdest thing in your hockey bag?

- Emergency flashlight/power bank.

You never know when the power is going to go out or if you need to juice up a device on the road.

 

4. Colored tape for your stick, totally yes or absolute no? why?

- Light blue tape representing a colour of the Helsinki Titans logo.

 

5. Funniest thing about your player?

He can solve a rubix cube in under 60 seconds.

Not impressive or necessarily considered funny but its impressive to watch in person nonetheless.

 

6. What is your goal/ fight song?

Borwinn is certainly no fighter and I don't personally care for goal songs; the cheese level is too high.

I'm still pretty new, so still bouncing around a bit figuring out where everything is.

Definitely a good twist to the league... provides solid insight.

Well... with it being the end of the season... I think this may be out of ate at this point of the season.

A dedicated and experience user in sim leagues when it comes to building goalies.  I'm stoked to be here and finally committed to the VHL system!

I think the Wolves are pretty dope, but the expansion teams (Moscow & Malmo) both have great logos. I probably hate Calgary and Toronto's logos tho.

None of them because I'm headed to the VHL straight off. I hope the reapers do good in the draft though!

Jet Jaguar doesn't have hair. He has an aerodynamic headpiece made from a super strong metallic alloy.

Is there any league restrictions for tape colour?  I fuck with white tape on the blade, and a color job on the knob. (pause)

He's a cybernetic robot, created by a group of Japanese scientists in a Ukrainian cave, to combat skyscraper-sized monsters.

Probably the Jet Jaguar theme from Godzilla vs Megalon. It's called 'Punch! Punch! Punch!' I think.
