TPE correct as of 4:00PM EST

Julian Borwinn @Jubo07

The first of the Season 63 first-gens taken off the board in the VHLM Draft, seventh overall pick Borwinn has been on a tear since joining the league exactly one week ago. He's already done both his Rookie Profile and Biography to give him an early boost, while also getting more involved with the league through his Assistant GM job with the Las Vegas Aces. It will be a tight race for #1 TPE first-gen in this draft, but the difference between first and second could come down to how successful his recruit Scott Shawinganen (who has already got 42 TPE) is.

Ryan Kastelic @Enorama

Out of all the first-gens in this draft, I think Enorama is the user who has picked up how the VHL works better than anyone. He's already shown a big commitment to earning as much weekly TPE as possible, even hitting the 12 TPE cap last week, something that not even anyone from the super promising Season 61 Draft Class managed. He's also gone out of his way to find other methods of earning TPE as evidenced by his post in the recruitment section where he found a place to post a link on another forum for TPE that even I had forgotten about! Borwinn will have to work super hard to keep Kastelic off of the number one spot.

Joseph McWolf @McWolf

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? Well, the VHL should be because McWolf is earning TPE at an insane rate to kick off his VHL career! Unlike Borwinn and Kastelic who were able to squeeze in some point tasks last week, McWolf didn't join till Monday this week so wasn't able to, but at the rate he's earning TPE that difference will be negligible. He's already done his Biography and his Rookie Profile and still found time to hit the 12 TPE cap! At this rate, the 16th overall pick in the VHLM might be playing his only season in the minor league.

Nikita Flipachyev @Arayvenn

Flipachyev was the second Season 63 first-gen taken in the Season 62 VHLM Draft and while he's not quite at the earning pace of the three players ahead of him at this moment, he's still got all the makings of someone who can become a very good player. He's done his Rookie Profile and Biography and like Borwinn, he has also assisted in bringing in a promising new player in Gregor Rasputinov. If he starts to submit VHL.com articles and graphics on a more regular basis, he will assure his status as a first round prospect for the S63 VHL Draft and maybe even find a way to be selected in the top four picks.

Chance Matthews @DaftRaincloud

My favourite username of the draft class and with the amount of TPE he's earning, you'd be daft to ignore the progress of Chance Matthews! He only joined the league on Thursday, but Matthews has already found a way to get his Rookie Profile and his Biography done and still have time to submit a graphic and a press conference! Like Flipachyev, if he starts to submit for VHL.com articles, the league needs to be put on full alert of TPE flooding courtesy of the DaftRaincloud!

Anssi Koivuhaka @Pelimies

Koivuhaka is currently joint-sixth in the First-Gen standings, but this isn't really a fair comparison to the rest of the players on these rankings as Koivuhaka entered the league nearly a full month ago and, in actually should have less TPE as an errant update granted Koivuhaka 17 TPE for the VHL's birthday rather than the 11 that was being offered. At the current rate of earning, Koivuhaka doesn't stand much chance of holding off the players who are just behind him, but if he were to return, he actually has a solid base for him to work from and become a solid VHL player.

Alexander Pepper @Sonnet

While he's only joint-sixth out of the first gens right now, this sells Pepper a bit short in how much effort he's actually putting in right now. This week he managed to get 10 capped points out of 12, that's a target that is only being exceeded by the top three prospects in this draft and is actually a better pace than the vast majority of the prospects from the Season 62 Draft. If he keeps this pace up and also gets around to submitting a biography, Pepper is going to have many a team writing love-poems to him to acquire his services!

Anderson LaVey @Doomzday

LaVey wasn't taken until the 25th pick of the VHLM Draft, but he has all the potential of a player who could become a big contributor for the Wild and eventually a VHL team. He earned a solid 8 capped TPE for his work this week, if he was able to submit VHL.com articles and his biography though, that would make VHL GMs pay even more attention to the free-scoring forward.

Jose Gonzalez @Jose Gonzalez

I think if there's any prospect who is on the cusp of being terrific but isn't quite there just yet, it's Jose Gonzalez. His status as the joint-eighth highest first-gen in this draft undersells just how much effort Jose has put in to being as good as he can possibly be. He's taking a very similar path to McWolf and Kastelic in that he's taken on reviewing as a way to earn extra weekly TPE, all he needs is a VHL.com article  to turn himself into a max TPE player. Let me put it this way, GM's don't ignore max TPE players.

Cole Mertz @ColeMrtz21

Cole Mertz is very much like his fellow goalie Alexander Pepper in that he's a player who's earning a lot better than his current ranking on this list suggests. He's sitting in tenth for first-gen TPE, but he's actually submitted 10 of the 12 capped TPE this week, meaning he's definitely on the right track to becoming a very good player. If he wanted to make the move to become one of the best, he'd do well to submit a Biography and consider doing Reviewing to max out on his TPE earnings weekly!

That's it for this time around, I'll be doing this next week where I'll be doing another ranking and further focusing on the most promising new players in the league!
