The Scouting Report

Pros

Passing : Rzerk is a born playmaker. He showed great passing abilities in the past and if he can live up to he's potential, he could be an all-time great at this skill.

He could finish a season with 30 points, with only assists. In fact, during his first junior year he finished the season with 45 assists and only three goals.

This player can find a teammate through five defenders, look one way and make a 180 degree pass the other way and he will still find his mark.

Puck Handling : If you wanted to, he could deke every rain drops in a shower. He's as good with a puck as Zeus is with lightning bolts. He's able to make he's way through the defense and set up a teammate. This player knows his good at it, and love to prove is one of the best, maybe he does too much showboating, nonetheless, when you see him play, you think his guy is doing something right.

Speed : This player is gifted with great ability on skates. His a good skater, he won't probably be the fastest but he got enough speed to shift any defenseman in the QMJHL. He could still be a threat for any defenseman in the VHL. By the way he skates, he could surprise many D-Man in this league. He's the kind of player who is able to accelerate to force defense to commit and then apply on the brakes on find an open teammate.

Cons

Checking : Rzerk never really hits during his career. I don't even think he does how to do it. This guy seams frightened by physical play, he'd rather turn in front of a player, than complete his body check. I'm not sure he could compete at a higher level if he doesn't improve this part of his game.

Strength : Even if you're not expected to be the toughest player, you should be able to protect yourself and the puck. That's a category where he has some issues. He might be a great puck handler   but when pressure is coming and he needs to keep the puck away from opponent in a corner, is terrible. When it's a tug of war, he never shows he's the strongest man, nor he wants to be the strongest man.

Scoring : As mentioned earlier, this guy can produce like no other in assists, however when it comes to goals, he's really bad. He has no scoring abilities and it looks like he does not have any potential at this category. If he has an open net, you know he got two choices, he will ether pass the puck or miss the net. That's how bad he is at scoring. There's more chance that Canadians choose field hockey over ice (real) hockey than him scoring a goal.
