After going up three games to none in the Founders Cup finals, the Rush won two in a row before Bratislava claimed victory in a commanding 4-0 win. "It's a fucking amazing feeling right now winning. Everyone contributed to the win and having this championship before the draft is an incredible feeling." - Slaeter Fjorsstrom. Projected first and second overall picks, Slaeter Fjorsstrom and Tom Slaughter and second year defenseman Andrey Zadorov led Bratislava in playoff scoring with 15 points, 13 points and 13 points respectively. Calgary prospect Martin Brookside was the only starting goalie with a save percentage above .900, with a .910 save percentage and two shutouts, including one in the final playoff game. "Marty came up huge for us and really cemented himself as the best in the league. He's going to have a great career for Calgary." - Fjorsstrom.
