1. We did great. We got me and Hornet. And Remy Moreau. Etc. Etc. We’re gonna be good.

3. If we’re not playing for the Founders Cup, it’ll be a huge disappointment.

1. We have gotten off to a great start, do you feel we can continue this pace?

I absolutely do. I think we're on the verge of something special here. 

 

2. What are your thoughts on the first game of the season which resulted in a loss?

I'm well aware that we're not going to be able to win them all. It sucks, I admit. But with each loss will come growth. The more we continue to thrive together, the more success we'll have over the long run. 

 

3. Are you happy with your performance in this early part of the season?

I'm the new guy on the block, so I get I have some expectations ahead of me. As of now, I haven't had much of a chance to get the ball rolling. But in due time, through following the lead of my team; I think I can wholeheartedly be a valid addition to this Ace squad. 

 

4. Do you think Las Vegas can continue this winning pace.

I absolutely do. It's a great team atmosphere in Vegas. I not only believe in this squad, but I know what we can bring to the table. Trust me, we're just getting started.

Thanks again for the questions Viper!

 

1. I think we definitely have the ability to keep up this pace, especially when the new folk continue to update and develop at a solid pace.

2. I think first games are always tough, especially with brand new teammates and new leadership. It always takes a game to figure out some chemistry and really mesh together.

3. I am pretty happy, I've got 8 points in 10 games as a mostly defensive defenseman. Just hoping to keep contributing on offense and playing lockdown defense.

4. I think our GM and AGM are setting us up for success, so I definitely think we can keep winning. Just gotta make sure we don't get too overconfident.

5. It'll probably be on us rookies, but hopefully @McWolf feels kind with the wad of cash he's sitting on.

6. Of course, our success starts from our leadership and he's been solid. His leadership along with our Alternates will determine whether we continue our pace.

1. I do think we can continue this pace, we are still continuing to get better.

2. First games can be tough, they got lucky. What matters is how to come back from a loss, and I'd say we came back pretty strong.

3. I am happy with 18 points in 10 games. My assists are great, but I do think I need to score more. 

4. I think this winning pace will continue because of the great team we have.

5. I am new to the team, so I think I will take the bill.

6. Yes, he is a great leader, and it's showing from our success.

I feel we'll do even better in the future. We really have a good roster, some players are capped already, others are joining. Goalie is developping fine. Watch for us in the playoffs.

Losses are always tough to swallow, especially when your team is so talented. But you can't really be mad about losing to the defending champions. Especially when they drop 7 on your rookie goalie. They deserved it, but we'll get the last laugh.

Yes and no? You can't be disappointed with going over the goal-per-game mark over 10 games, but when you look at the top scorers and you see guys like Syreck with 36 points in 11 games, you wonder if it could have been you.

We're only getting stronger, both as individuals and a team. Take a look at our team defense? We're letting up a tiny number of shots per game. It isn't great for my numbers, but it's great for our numbers.

I'd like to bring my GAA down, but I can't complain about the record.

Absolutely, we're scoring goals like crazy and keeping our shots against low. Should be a great formula for success.

1. Of course, we have arguably the best roster and we can only get better, since our goalies TPE is lower than most top teams, so we can make up ground even though we are already one of the best teams, if that makes sense.

 

2. Defense should have played better, especially myself. Zod prides himself on defense, so I was disappointed.

 

3. How could you not be? 8-2, Zod is playing well, everythings going good.

 

4. Of course, as I said before. We are the best in the league!

 

5. I will of course, the General cares for his teammates before himself.

1. For sure. While a 10-2 record may be hard to maintain through a full season, I do think that this team can do it.

2. You can't win every game, so you just have move past it and get ready for the next game.

3. I am happy, and I just scored my first goal recently, so that is good. As long as my team is winning, I will be happy with my performance.

4. Absolutely, and I think that we will be able to improve throughout the season to do so.

1. I'm not impressed. We have some phenomenal players, but we can always do better. Everyone in the locker room believes that we have more to show, and that's what we're going to aim to do.

2. I think I can contribute a bit more offensively. I got my first couple goals recently, but we haven't been winning. 

3. I think 18+ minutes for a second pairing defenseman is pretty decent. I'm happy with it!

4. Of course, that's easy.

5. I'd be down, I think it'd be fun to recognize folks on the team for their efforts.

6. I'd probably say our GM Poptart. He never lets us be content with our performance and always says to strive for more.

1. We started off great, but recently I am not impressed with our performance.

2. Right now we are not doing well, but this team is better than where we are on the standings. I believe we will turn things back around.

3. I think I receive enough ice time.

4. We have some great players that will lead us to the playoffs.

5. I would be on-board, good to acknowledge the players on the team who make this team great.

6. I haven't spent too much time here, but GM Poptart welcomed me right away, and pushes the team to be better.

1.  Yes! Especially with my own performance it's been quite a jump!
2. Absolutely great! Don't want to lose my core gameplay fundamentals though.

3. There's never enough ice time, I'd never be satisfied unless I can play back to back game on the same day.

1. Yes, but we can do better. We are in sixth place, come on now, we were in second like three days ago. We have to pick it up.

 

2. Zod is doing pretty good. He had a great start, cooled off a little recently, but still is playing point per game, and racking up hits. Pretty happy with his play, but I want more hits and definitely more blocked shots.

 

3. Of course, I think I get the most ice time on the team, or almost the most. I'm more than happy.

 

4. We are a lock for the playoffs. Unless we lose every game or something, we will make it in.

 

5. Yes of course, when I was GM we did it but most seasons we only had a couple active guys, so it wasn't much of a show. Now we have a good team so it would be very good.

We started really hot. Defense was on fire, allowing around 15 shots per game, scoring was good enough to put up numbers.

We've definitely cooled. I think teams are realizing that throwing pucks at the net will have results.

Love you and your questions Viper, always nice to reply to 'em!

 

1. I love the addition of Proto and major kudos to the blues for hiring him. Even if there are other, more experienced candidates, he's the perfect fit for LVA.

2. Very comfortable with it, though I think we can try to get a few more guys active in there. 

3. I have specific ideas that I've talked to Proto/Viper about, but i'll keep those private from the public  

4. I think we're a solid squad overall, and his hiring may spur us to perform a bit better than we were. Change always requires results.

5. A community award would be nice for the person most active and beneficial within our LR and in public. Someone who can be called "Mr. Las Vegas Ace"

6. I wish I could have 69, but that may be a bit unrealistic. I'd like at least 42.0 points. Currently sitting at 26 so that's a bit more achievable!

Looking forward to it, we're a strong team, and new leadership shouldn't change that.

The lockerroom hasn't changed that much, we're all still gunning to win.

Not really my area of expertise. I just stand in the back and keep the puck out of the goal.

We've got a good thing going. We had a few rough weeks, but the team is still fundamentally strong.

Not sure what the award are, but Joe Proto has been stellar at closing out close game, leading the league in GWG.

 

6. How many points do you want to have at the end of the season? (Keep it realistic)

 

I've got 4 right now, so I'd love to finish with at least 6.

1. With Poptart stepping down, how do you feel with the new addition that is @Proto? I guess we will see what happens, it's always an adjustment when you have new management coming in and changing things around.

 

2. Do you feel comfortable with the new locker room? It's interesting, not sure what happened with letting anyone have an invite.

 

3. Do you have any line suggestions? Dumping the inactives and pushing the actives up

 

4. Do you feel that Proto at the helm can change our winning and losing? We shall see, we had been really underachieving, maybe the change will give us a boost

1. I think it was a good idea to give him that position, I think the team will be able to rally from this.

2. I am comfortable in the locker room, not much of a change to me. 

3. I don't have any suggestions right now, I'm confident we will find the right lines.

4. I do feel Proto can bring us to more winning. I think the change will push us harder.

5. I think a good team award would be Best Russian on the team.

6. Currently I have 48 points in 40 games, I'd like to get to 90 points at the end of the season. I'm hoping I can step it up a bit.

I think it's a good hire. Disappointing to see Poptart go due to circumstances beyond his control though.

 

2. Yes I do, our locker room is good.

 

3. Nothing comes to mind. Just keep getting General Zod and Randy Marsh out there and we will do our thing.

 

4. This team is very similar to our S68 team. We have a better roster than our place says, and it's because we couldn't pick up a goalie in the draft. No disrespect to our current goaltender, it's not his fault he joined late and he is doing a pretty good job with lower TPE values.

6. 72. Currently I have 35 in 40 games and I want to bring it to point per game. I'm more interested in my hit and blocked shot totals though. My blocked shots are lacking for some reason but recently I have been hitting like crazy, I'm going to crack the top 10 soon I hope.
