1. With the VHL draft coming up very soon, what do you have to say to VHL scouts looking at your game?

I'm a consistent TPE earner and see myself staying active for the long haul.

2. Were you surprised with the results of the finals for the VHL or VHLM?

No, especially not the VHLM. 

3. Who surprised you the most in the playoffs? (Player or team)

I can't say I was too surprised by anything that went down in the playoffs.

4. What VHL team is your favorite? Who are you hoping to get drafted by?

I think I'd like to be drafted by Malmo.

5. Did you pay attention to the all-star game? What was your favorite part about it?

I did not. I honestly didn't even know that it was happening.

6. Do you wish there was a VHLM all-star game? If it happens in the future, what fun events would you add to it?

It would be cool to have. I'm not familiar with what events are involved in the VHL ASG but it could probably just stay the same for VHLM.

1. With the VHL draft coming up very soon, what do you have to say to VHL scouts looking at your game?

I think my game speaks for itself. You know what you're getting when you draft me. A hard working defenseman that plays all out every game. I hope the scouts dive a little deeper than simple stats when looking at players. I know I don't put up as great looking numbers as others, but my influence on the ice much greater than goals and assists.

 

2. Were you surprised with the results of the finals for the VHL or VHLM?

Definitely the VHL, I thought Seattle and Riga were the best teams this year, but neither of them even made the finals.  It just shows how important team chemistry is. If you get a group of players that work well together, anything can happen, especially in the playoffs. Toronto definitely showed that this year.

 

3. Who surprised you the most in the playoffs? (Player or team)

Vesto Slipher really had a monster playoffs for Helsinki. He should be proud of his performance, even in defeat.

 

4. What VHL team is your favorite? Who are you hoping to get drafted by?

I don’t have a favorite team. I want to get drafted by any team. I just want to play in the VHL. I guess whatever team drafts me will be my favorite team.

 

5. Did you pay attention to the all-star game? What was your favorite part about it?

I missed the game. I have other important matters occurring right now.

 

6. Do you wish there was a VHLM all-star game? If it happens in the future, what fun events would you add to it?

There should definitely be a VHLM all-star game. It’s dumb there isn’t one. I think one event they could do would to have a flip-flop game, where forwards play defense and defense plays forwards. I’m not sure what goalies would do, coach?

1. I haven't really looked at it, but I'm on it so it must be good.

 

2. Gotta be us...  MORPHEOUS DESTRUCTIOUS easily the best d-man taken outside round one.

 

3. Put up points, win games.

 

4. The jerseys are fresh, better than the Golden Knights? Probably not. But, they're good.

 

5. I don't know, something upbeat, loud, possibly related to the city or name.

1. I know most of these players from the EFL and SBA so we must have had a pretty good draft because if they are as active in here as they are in the SBA and EFL, we should be in pretty good shape.

 

2. Since Steven McBuckets is the best player in the draft, we obviously had the best draft. Just joking. From just grazing through the draft, it seems like Saskatoon and Ottawa had pretty good drafts. 

 

3. My personal goals are to get better. I am pretty new here to this site and VHLM so slowly getting better week by week is what I am trying to do. I also want to win face offs and score goals. After team goals, I believe the goal should always be a championship if possible.

 

4. They are pretty great. I'll enjoy wearing them while hopefully scoring goals and kicking ass.

 

5. Eye of the Tiger.

 

6. I don't follow the EFL too much but I like New York so I'll go with the New York Americans.

I think we'll do better than last year and get to 40 wins. Should be good for 4th place or so.

I am confident with our team and GM we can finish in the top 3. Were a great team with a lot of skilled players!

I think San Degio will surprise a lot of people. (Totally not just because I am the AGM). Even though they are an expansion I think they will do well. They did great during the draft and have many actives. 

 

3 Favourite NHL team and why?

Vancouver Canucks because I have grown up watching them and I look up to all of them. 

 

4 Who will win the Stanley Cup?

Carolina Hurricanes 100% confirmed.  

 

5 Who do you model your player after?

Has to be Elias Pettersson. He has an amazing shot and has amazing skating. I try to be like him every time I step onto the ice.

 

6 If you could make one rule change in the VHL, what would it be?

The buyout contract rule. There needs to be some penalty for buying out a player.
