Iron Sharpens Iron

As it has been said many times throughout the course of history, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."  For Kyson Blake of the Saskatoon Wild, he really didn't have that.  As he arrived to the wild he was the new guy on the block with most of his teammates being around the league for a bit, so while they were all welcoming and helpful for him to get settled in, there really wasn't anyone in the same boat as him to kind of push him in a competitive friendly manor.  Enter Anton Edvin another S64 VHL draftee and most importantly another winger.  As soon as Edvin came to the Wild and started practicing it became pretty clear that these two had a bit of a rivalry going on trying to one up each other.  At first I wasn't sure if there was animosity towards one another as they are part of the same future draft class  and play basically the same position, but later it was confirmed to me that no, instead they both are actually just pushing each other in a friendly teammate type way that will hopefully see benefits to both of them.  It'll be interesting to see how these two grow as teammates and could possible be a future force out on the ice for the Wild.
