Davis, mid-season glance

While he started off strong, Jake Davis has regressed a bit as we hit the mid-season mark. With 60 pts in 44 games he still sits in the top 10 for the league and 8^th in the forward scoring race. Even with Davis’ production slowing down, the Bears are still right at the top of the league with 68 pts (1 game and 2 points back of the league-leading Reign). With 38 more games to go in the season, Davis is likely to hit the 100-point mark for the first time in his career, which would be a huge accomplishment for him in only his second year of play. At 24 goals he’s also only 2 behind his last years total. One of his most impressive stats is his plus-minus which shows that he is contributing on the defensive side of the game as well. At this point in time, it seems like Seattle is a lock for the playoffs and it’ll be Davis’ first major test when they enter the post-season.
