Ottawa Season Ends As Expected

The season for VHLM rookie defenseman Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen is finally over. After surprise victories over the Las Vegas Aces and Yukon Rush, the Ottawa Lynx went up against the Saskatoon Wild in the Founder's Cup...and it wasn't really close, although it kind of was. While at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that Wild swept the Lynx in four games, the Ottawa players could hold their head up high that at least 3 of the games were close in a series no one expected them to win. 

 

Now Werbenjagermanjensen will head into the S64 VHLM Dispersal Draft. It is unknown how high this player will go in the draft. While his current TPA levels are below many others, there is no doubt that Smitty will "cap" by the end of the season and hit the maximum TPA allowed in the league. So while Smitty will not be at "max level" at the beginning of the season (that, honestly...doesn't really matter that much) he will be there in the end and during the playoffs when it matters.
