Tall scoring center that likes to play fast and can score at will.

 

Pros

 

Speed (Skating) - Raphael is an unbelievable skater, When Raphael was in high school in Yerevan, Armenia.  Many Armenian scouts have said he is one of the fastest players in Russia and Armenia.  Nazarians mostly played with the Russian National Team since Armenia didn't have a great hockey program.  Many of his players also praised his speed saying he was the fastest player from Europe.  Raphael Nazarians is also regarded as a very smooth skater.  Although he is a great skater he can sometimes hold the puck too long causing in missed opportunities and turnovers.  As time goes by Raphael Nazarians can improve his potential and increase his skating skills and his speed.  

 

Scoring - Raphael is also an amazing scorer, many scouts have said he is an unbelievable scorer and passer.  Raphael Nazarians constantly finds himself at the right place and at the right time, making him a very effective and efficient scorer and player.  He has a good mind for the game and a very high IQ and always knows where the puck is and where it's going to be at.  Allowing him to score often and easy and without a problem.  Many of his former teammates loved playing with him since he would always be a reliable scoring option.

 

Size / Physically - Raphael Nazarians is also an incredible athlete that is large in size.  Raphael Nazarians is 6'3" and 190lbs he has increible height.  Raphael was a star athlete for the Armenian National Team and was an incredible shot put thrower and discus thrower.  Raphael Nazarians is good at using his size to hit players and keep other players in line.

 

 

Cons

 

Defense - Although he has great size and is very physical his defense is lacking and is a real liability on defense but he can improve and become better overtime.  His hockey coach was never a defensive coach and was mainly an offensive coach.  That's why Raphael mainly excelleled on offense and was a very good offensive player.  Raphael Nazarians can still be a great defender and work on his defense.

 

Passing - Raphael Nazarians is again a incredible offensive but he can sometimes not be a good passer and can sometimes can give up the puck way too easily.  He can also increase his passing ability.  The Russian National Team was also an incredible passing team and didn't need Nazarians as a passer but as a scorer for the team.  Ending beautiful passes with great finishes.  Many of his teammates also said he can definitely improve on his passing skill.

 

Mental - Raphael is definity a great player but he has some mental issues, he is very confident but he can also be very down on himself and say he's a terrible player.  He lacks confidence due to his earlier ages when many people would call him fat and ugly.  They also said Raphael Nazarians was a horrible athlete and couldn't accomplish anything.
