It's not any more "asshole-ish" than any other free agency situation. That said, I can now officially say we'd be happy if you resigned Bingo. As I said in the PM @BOOM there is absolutely zero hard feelings if you choose to go to FA or another team. The opportunity to get a pitch in early and get a feel for their plans, even if your team is ultimately not included was worth a throw in pick. Make no mistake this deal was about Sully Jr. But when your a FA target of mine anyway? No problem throwing a lower pick in for the chance to see if we were on your interest list.
