Maybe get back into ice hockey once the pandemic is over. 2. Help the team build towards the playoffs and a championship. 3. I hope that everyone stays safe, has a fun filled year and lots of fortune. 7. I can see Helsinki winning it as they have a very strong core. 8. Yes, it is unfortunate that many will have to work holidays as they deserve to enjoy them instead of having to work for little. 9. I am very excited to be with the team for the rest of my career. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Mexico and Philly move on. I'm pretty good at these things, so I'd bet big on it if you have any spare cash. 6. Can you predict the same for VHL playoffs? Really excited to see how the new format for this season works out and seeing a Canadian team make it to final 4. 6. Do you think expansion for the VHL league will be needed in the near future? It may not be needed but the added teams may make it more competitive and allow for more players to get prime minutes where they might only get 3rd or 4th line minutes. 8. It's my rookie year, hopefully the start of something good in Riga, and going to be a heck of a race for Rookie of the Year. 4 - I wasn't rooting for anyone in particular, but I am happy to see Malmo win, especially for Z and for Condor going out on top 5 - I'm excited mostly because it'll give me something to do lol 6 - I guess it depends on how well recruiting goes over the next couple seasons, but I kind of like smaller leagues, easier to keep up with everything lol 8 - For sure, he's one of our best forwards so of course it's good to have him back 9 - Yeah, I was sad that I didn't make the WJ last year (especially since I probably would have had a good chance if it happened in the off-season like it does now), but happy to finally get the chance now. Getting a 3rd is also nice. 4. It feels great to finally put my work on the ice. 5. It sucks we never got to play. Hopefully we can meet again soon. 6. Welcome! Hopefully you mesh well with the team. 7. I think we need to grow this season. We have a lot of rookie talent, including myself, that need to adjust to the faster pace of VHL compared to VHLM. 8. How can we help him with that? 1 - We made some good moves to set up for the future I think 2 - Zyrok was a solid defenseman last season and has some veteran experience, so I'm definitely happy he'll be back! 3 - I was a little surprised you actually traded Sirkants, but it makes sense for both our team with Harvey already established, and for Sirkants who will get a chance to play sooner in Toronto, so it wasn't THAT surprising, but probably the most surprising still 4 - It was a super fun update to get to spend like 117 TPE at once or whatever it was 7 - I expect nothing less! I know we have a good group of players and a lot of really hard workers on this team. A Charcuterie Board would bring everyone in depending on what's on it. 3.) Our trainer needs to know what your pre-game rituals are. Please advise. 3. Naps... The need for comfortable couches and cold pillows. 4.) What, in your opinion, should be addressed in terms of our team’s needs ? 4. Nothing really, just need to build chemistry as a team and let the experiences happen. 5.) What do you do during your off days...down time ? 5. I think there are going to be a few contenders that may be unhappy after confronting the Reign. 2.) How can we make our LR more attractive ? (no lavender candles, please!) Food and after game beverages are always welcome. A TPE raffle….like you get one entry for every meaningful post. Meaningful, because I saw a 12 word presser the other day. Yup, you saw it right 12 words to answer 6 questions. In a perverse way I was impressed. 3.) Our trainer needs to know what your pre-game rituals are. Please advise. I haven’t any pre-game rituals that would impact the training staff. However, I like the idea of cushy nap-time couches !! 4.) What, in your opinion, should be addressed in terms of our team’s needs ? I don’t think we really NEED anything. The team looks pretty balanced and we have a ton of players on our roster. This group looks really good for the future. 5.) What do you do during your off days...down time ? I like to take it easy. Wander around the city and experience the Latvian culture. I try to rest a bit so that I have energy to perform at my best. 6.) Any cultural shocks on moving to Latvia ? Well, the food is definitely different than what one get in North America….good…..but different. And what is “kvass” anyways ??? 7.) have you learned how to pronounce “Es spēlēju hokeju Rīgas valdīšanas laikā”? Muahahahahaha. Too funny. I think it means “I play hockey for the Riga Reign” or something like that. As far as pronouncing it is concerned….I don’t think so. I shall leave that to my electronic translator device. 8.) We signed 4 undrafted free agents. Is this going to be a new trend in this league? That is a good question. This phenomenon is sort of like the VHL version of the taxi squad. You can draw from a pool of inactive players, paying them the minimum and still have a player that is better than a bot. And, of course, there is always the chance that the player will resume activity. 9.) Milk before cereal or other way around? The other way around. Milk on cereal then a sprinkle of raw sugar.
