Overview

Berocka’s upcoming in Australia has created a different sort of player than what you would see growing up in a country that has a bigger following for the sport. With his exceptional skill and the fact that he has mostly played around people a fair bit older than him it has produced quite an individual. He has previous experience in Australian Rules football which lead him to be a bit more physical and not afraid to take a hit, and Cricket which greatly increased his hand-eye co-ordination. With being considerably a better player than not only his competition but also his own team this has led Berocka to become a bit of a one-man team sometimes.

Strengths

Shooting

Berocka has always had a love for scoring goals, this started with his early sporting career in both Australian Rules Football and Cricket he loved being the hero of the team. With this love for being the hero he focused on his shooting skills. He can both pick the corner with his extremely accurate wrist shot or to blast it past the goalie with his wicked slap shot. If Berocka has the puck in the offensive zone don’t give him any space or you will regret it.

Puck Handling

Berocka grew up playing cricket in Australia before his ice hockey career, this helped him hone in on his hand-eye co-ordination. This matched with his love of scoring, Berocka has shown exceptional puck handling skills to open his shooting lane and allowing himself to become the hero of the team.

Checking

Berocka is not afraid to hit or be hit on the ice, he grew up playing against a lot of players bigger than him which helped him learn how to check well. When ever he is on the ice you see some of the smaller players looking around, they are aware he is there, and you can tell it bothers them.

Willingness to Learn

Berocka has shown a lot of passion for the sport and spends any free time trying to learn and improve. Whether it be ice time with a coach or player, or even watching film. Berocka always tries to tidy up his game and not only improve on any weaknesses but continue to excel at what he does best.

Weaknesses

Leadership

As Berocka grew up playing with older players he never really had a leadership position. He usually is only aware about his own game and struggles to change strategies on the fly without the assistance of others.

Fighting

Checking is one of Berocka’s strengths but sometimes this rubs people the wrong way, if this leads to a fight Berocka is almost certain to lose the altercation. He is known to be the cause of some fights but finds a way of backing out of them each time. This can sometimes cause teammates to come in and lend a hand.

Selfishness

Berocka grew up as the one-man team, this leads him to try and be the hero of every situation. When it pays off he looks good but when it doesn’t go to plan it can turn out quite bad and ruin the morale of the team. Berocka is known to ignore an open man in a good scoring shot to take a shot himself, or even to try and deke around a defender instead of passing off to the open man.

Summary

Berocka is an exceptional player and worth the look for any teams looking for another scoring threat. I would strongly recommend that any GM’s that are scouting Berocka to consider the internal locker room issues that may arise with his hiring. If you have a strong core with great leadership I imagine that Berocka could fall in line and become a great asset for your team.

That's one badass picture. I like what you've done with it in your sig too.

Great summary and conclusion.

I love this, we don't see enough rookie reports go outside of the base TPE stats. Way to flesh out who the player is and how he struggles.

Good job expanding on the S/W's, solid report overall.
