Condor Adrienne - Biography

There are a lot more places in this universe then just earth, but a lot of earthlings do not even seem to realize. One of the persons that have seen way more of the solar systems past ours is quarterback of the OS1 Orbiting Death, Condor Adrienne.  With hockey season being in the same time as the Galactic Football League (which is probably the deathliest league in the game) is on a break, it feels like the perfect time for Condor to try something completely different… Becoming a hockey player.

His story so far

Condor Adrienne is now 22 years old and while he has never skated before, he played in arena’s with all different types of floor. From concrete to glass, to coal to ice, he has played football on it.  So now it’s time to relax a bit for him and try a less hostile sport in hockey. From a younger age, Condor always was always outside and playing games, but unlike all of us even though he is human, is not from Earth, he was raised on the planet Whitok, as his parents were part of the first migrants from Earth to inhabit that planet. Being part of the purist nation Condor knows nothing than hate and disrespect for people that are not exactly like him.  Coming from parents that are high on the Purist Church ranks, he just never knew better. The purist nations inhabitants all truly believe in ‘The High One’, which they worship altogether. Being from an upper class, Condor never had anything to worry about. But there was something about this safe lifestyle that he did not like, he wanted to sense the danger and what would be better for him than playing in the GFL.

After successful years in the Tier 2 League he got crowned as the best playing quarterback which made OS1 Orbiting Death owner Anna Villani sign him as the team got promoted to Tier 1. On his last season, they were still 10-0 before their first loss against eventual champions the Ionath Kraken. With the Kraken’s quarterback suffering from great injury Condor knows that next year should become his year and due to that he wants to become even stronger, father and more agile on the field. In order to train further he decides to move to Earth in the upcoming offseason.

Moving planets

While moving to Earth there are a lot of challenges for Condor as he has never lived outside of the Purist Nation. There he basically is a god, here on Earth he will just be one of a few billion. Without the Church having his back to protect him he has to step away from his pride and learn to act and play as an actual human. Something that no other Purist has done before after they fled Earth and started their colony years ago.  The movement was never noticed by the media, so there are a lot of questions about Condor signing up to play in the Victory Hockey League. People want to know where he comes from, and if he gives them the actual answer, they will just wonder what drugs he uses, as it must be really strong stuff to come up with answers like his. Made up planets and all?  It’s hard for an earthling to take in that there is actually more life in the universe than just us, it is just lightyears away.

But here he is, all alone and not a single person he knows around him. He used to love his rivalry with fellow quarterback Quentin Barnes, who (even though a lot of people think Condor is better) picked up all honors like MVP and some cup rings while Condor lacks these titles but just can present some better stats on a team that is just not there yet. And now, even that rivalry is gone.

From zero to hero?

Starting from almost nowhere Condor will have to make a name for himself in the Victory Hockey League and at the upcoming trade deadline he will declare his eligibility to be signed. There are talks about teams wanting to sign Condor and add them to their line up, so knowing this, there will not likely be a bidding war for him as he has made up his mind already. Due to joining at the trade deadline, Condor opts to go into the S68 Draft of the VHL, increasing his chance to be one of the higher picked players instead of joining know when the S67 class is already really full.

As a player of the Orbiting Death he already knows he wants to play for a team with a similar belief and playstyle, so it will probably be obvious where Condor will sign for. Despite not knowing his position yet, he is already spotted around the team in question and rumors go he even has bought the biggest house he could find in the region. Money is not an issue for one of the Purist nations members.

With his entrance on earth he knows there will be a lot of travelling needed between the seasons of both the VHL and the GFL, but he knows this is what he needs to become a better player and to finally win the Galaxy Bowl. Whatever he wins in this league will just be a bonus as the Galaxy Bowl is his only real goal. It is just something the people of Earth will never find out about.

And that’s why for him this is just an extra, fun game, to participate in his off-season’s. While in the Galactic Football there usually is a minimum of 1 death per day of games, he knows he will survive here playing hockey, just maybe lose a tooth or to, but if that is the worst that can happen, he fears nothing. So it’s just a few weeks left before he will finally start his training. His Galaxy Bowl run might have ended this season, but the Founder’s Cup challenge will be on it’s way, the question remains if he will jump board on the right ship, or will he lose out on it, just as he did in the GFL.

Since you probably don't really know me, and said team is likely not my own, sad face (holy passive voice Batman).

Welcome back to player-hood, though, and good luck!

Review: I’m not sure if it’s me but the class of '68 throws me off completely. Also props to you for creating a 68 player and waiting that’s really smart. I think it’s kinda cool how you added the galactic part and football. It was a nice touch.

Review: Agree with Walter that class of 68 does throw it off a little bit. Was definitely an interesting profile to read, some great creativity. If it was me I would add an extra picture or two. First VHL player not from Earth? Could be interesting ;) keep up the good work
