Each season is roughly 8 weeks so add a VHLM season in and each full length career runs for roughly a year and a half. By that point most people have already maxed out their player and/or gotten kinda bored of having the same player and are ready to move on anyway. Honestly I’m enjoying Thompson but my build has been done for 2 seasons now so I’m pretty much just riding the point train until I retire. For my first players I really never wanted to let them go, but once you have gone full circle with one or two of them, you get bored a bit quicker and want to start over. I always played out my careers, but my last players (Maximoff, Quill and Warlock) I didn't really mind that retirement was looking, something I did have with my first two.
