They have clinched a playoff birth just 47 games into the season with a 38-6-3 record. Part of this success is attributable to the performance of rookie center Aston Martin who has officially burst onto the scene. After a somewhat quite start on a personal note, the past couple weeks have been impressive for Martin. He is currently tied for the league-lead with 33 goals in 47 games and also has contributed 34 points. His 67 points is good for sixth-best in the league and just 9 points off the leader, Blake Gaudette. The former second round pick for the Lynx has proven to be quite the value pick at 14th overall. What is next for Martin? Is it possible he continues this red hot streak and takes home the goal scoring title? Can he be a high draft pick in the S67 VHL Draft? Only time will tell.
