Quik 4,113 Posted June 18, 2019 Share Posted June 18, 2019 Hey @Members So, this is a little late (after already being a little late), but this week, ending June 23rd is VHL Theme Week! By now, if you've been here for a while, you know the drill. If you're new, theme week means Uncapped TPE for submissions based on the season's "Theme," in this case, the Playoffs are the S66 Theme. This means you can write a Media Spot about anything to do with the playoffs, make a graphic about a team (or teams) in the playoffs, or submit a Podcast talking about the playoffs. It can be predictions, observations, hype, whatever you want, as long as it is clearly related to the playoffs. As this is only being announced on Tuesday, there will be an allowance for people who have already submitted this week, to submit their Themed Point Tasks this week, and claim them next week. These submissions must still be made by the end of the week, in order to qualify. Hide contents Complete a Regular Point Task (Media Spot / Graphic/Video / Podcast), on 'Theme', and receive an extra 6 Uncapped TPE Complete a VHL.com submission (Written / Graphic / Podcast), on 'Theme', and receive an extra 1 Uncapped TPE Complete both 'Theme' submissions, receive an additional 1 Uncapped TPE, for a total of 8 Uncapped TPE NotAVHLM-GM and Phil 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Commissioner Beketov 8,642 Posted June 18, 2019 Commissioner Share Posted June 18, 2019 As always as well, any job that replaces a PT for the user (simming, recruitment, etc) gets the bonus as well as their usual pay. Now you are saying I can write a Media Spot about the playoffs that is 500 - 600 words. I can claim a doubles week 6 TPE for the week ending 6/23/19 and next week use the article for my main media 6 TPE?? I am pretty sure my Media Spot was about the Playoffs anyways this week just by sheer coincidence... So I probably don't need to write another one just claim the doubles week?? As long as you submit a themed article this week, you can claim the uncapped, and then use the actual article as your capped PT next week. Same goes for VHL.com submissions. Yeah... looking back at my VHL Article and Media Spot they are both about the playoffs. One is already titled Playoff Push so I don't think I need to write another one. Just claim the double TPE which would be 6 and 2 if I am understanding this? So just claim it under Other and list Theme Week as the Reason? ITT: People asking the same question over and over Yeah, you can submit both this week, and then claim the capped TPE next week if you submitted something before this announcement went up. Can I make it a regular player graphic, but featuring a player in the playoffs, and add a logo and make it coloured to the team he plays for?
