Considering Toronto is competing again in Season 67, we aren't in a position to get into bidding wars over the player to fill the type of need we have to make sure is locked up, so we opened with this overpayment knowing that DAV would go seeking for prospects over the 3rd/4th and hope that nobody would be willing to pay more, especially with other players to be had for cheaper. That said very happy to have this deal go through. I was more than willing to overpay to get @Peace who on top of being a great member also has a very good long term contract, something that in this current VHL climate is valuable.
