The Depersial Draft for the VHLM has passed, and we got a moment to sit down and talk with Ottawa Lynx Left Winger Micha Sage. We asked him the basic questions about how he was feeling, how he feels about being a member of the Lynx, and what his goals for the upcoming season are.

Micha, thanks for chatting with us. I can imagine how you're feeling right now, but why don't you go ahead and tell us.

Hey thanks for taking the time and talking with me. I am pretty excited to have been picked up the Ottawa Lynx! Finally, all the hard work I have put into games, camps, and training has paid off; but I know the workload is about to be ten times greater than what I've done to this point.

Now that you're officially in the VHLM and a member of the Ottawa Lynx, what are your thoughts on the team, and what are your expectations?

I am pretty stoked and excited to be a part of the team. I think we have a good team heading into the new season. I think our D-Line is going to be strong, Parkey is going to be huge for us in our zone. I am looking forward to practice, getting to know the team, and building some chemistry. Of course you want to win games, but I know it's almost impossible to win them all, so I want to go into each game and learn something about my game, where I can improve, what I need to change...things like that.

We won't keep you much longer, Micha, so one last question before you head out. What are your goals for the upcoming season?

Uh, probably getting minutes where I can. Like I said, I want to build some chemistry with the team, and that goes down to whatever line I land on. Take it one game at a time, worry about the tasks in front of me and not get too much fog and lose sight. Scoring my first goal in the VHLM will be nice, but, I think getting wins and helping the team get chances are more important.

Thanks for the chat, Micha. Best of luck to you in your VHLM career, and best of luck to the Lynx.
