diacope 1,696
This is the time when players get drafted, ink new contracts and teams scramble to fill their rosters with late additions and transactions, welcome to the off-season. The season is around the corner and today we are going to rank the best and the worst rosters thus far, giving you an early look before the new season officially starts. Some teams are a few moves away and some are far from competitive, today we are going to look at the worst TPE totals, thanks for tuning.. lets get started! #5 = 1015 TPE Top Players LW John Perdue - LW Tormund Giantsbane - D Anthony Amberback - D Fylo Gibbles - D Kefka Palazzo Saskatoon is very defensive and all their top players can take the puck away and and it is clear they have more defenders than forwards right now but will help them compete against the higher rated clubs until they find some more offense. The Wild have yet to sign a goaltender and that will only cause more stress on the general manager and take his focus off of building his team until he finds the man for the job. #4 = 992 TPE Top Players LW Jason Connors - LW Nick Kirkpatrick - RW Ryan Busser - D Donat Szita - D Ryan Chism GM Zack Gagnon has had a lot of food on his plate since trading away all his picks and not acquiring any players at the draft. San Diego went threw a total rebuild and started fresh, acquiring nine different players this off-season. The biggest addition was Szita, who will man most of the defensive minutes this season and a rookie goalie Steel who has yet proved himself but is currently the only goaltender in the organization and it only cost the team a 3rd round pick for a pair of players they needed. #3 = 459 TPE Top Players LW Hayden Clarkson - LW Lexington Lewis - D Charles Drumm - G Virgil Ligriv - G Lukas Schweitzer Lets start with the team having two goaltenders, that isn't something they need without having any forwards or defenders to cover them, Ligriv is the teams best player and Schweitzer is the teams best rookie. If the Aces can figure out what kind of roster they want to construct they have the pieces to acquire and plenty of rookies to develop but they are going to need to put in work because the season is close and being organized is a must if they want to win and be successful. #2 = 448 TPE Top Players C Eeli Harju - LW Waluigi De Rossi - C Hunter Edwards - D Hiromu Takahashi - D Walt Sanguinetti The Kings have an all-around roster but the area they need to improve on is offense, they only have a couple shooters and not a lot of passers and that wont make things easy on them if they want to produce like the other teams in the VHLM. They have a good base and will be able to adjust mistakes before they happen. What the team really needs is a group gym session and tons of meetings to spread knowledge and gain strength, the compassion is there but the work effort is not. #1 = 414 TPE Top Players LW Chett Bandy - C Alexander Shaw - RW Jaxon Walker - D Daman Veyalon - D Noah Hanley Mississauga is at the bottom of the league with the lowest total TPE earned and hasn't made a lot of movement this off-season, leading the way with the most experience and skill is Bandy, a quik goal scorer and only valuable player they own as of right now. They did draft some good rookies with potential but have yet to develop into a key player for the Hounds. The one thing the team does have is a solid top line with good chemistry, the scouts will be attending a lot of their games because who knows how good their prospects could turn out with all the extra ice time at an early age. JeffD 648
Oh I'm banking on getting the ice time with the Hounds. It is going to be quite the experience with this squad but I am already up over 1/4 of this total.
