Nate Telker is a rookie center at just age 16. He got picked up by the Mississauga Hounds just a week ago. Telker is 6'1 and 188 lb. Telker is originally from Lethbridge, AB, where he recently left his midget AAA team to play for the hounds. Telker is currently eligible for the S68 entry draft where he hopes to be draft. With Telker being unranked, he has some ground to make up if he wants to achieve his goal of becoming drafted. He hopes he can crack the rankings by the end of the season. Telker is described as being a play-making center who isn't afraid to shoot the puck. He is still pointless after 5 games and hopes to change that before the end of the season.

Telker is a very strong face-off taker and should be able to apply that to the VHL. he has the ability to take them and quickly get to the net to try and tip in a point shot. passing is another big part of Telker's game that he thrives on. He has a strong hockey sense which helps him deke into open space before finding another teammate. he draws players towards him which gives his other teammates more space to create a play. He is a team leader on the ice and a fun presence to be around off the ice. Telker has been a leader throughout his youth career. being the assistant captain of his midget AAA team as a rookie, and then captaining his Bantam AAA team the year before that. Telker has a wicked amount of speed that allows him to blow by opponents in mcdavid-esque style. His speed plus stickhandling allows him to get through multiple opponents in a blur. One reason opponents are drawn to him instead of giving him more space to block passes, is because he gladly uses that space to blow by opponents and then take a shot or make a pass.

While Telker may have a very strong offensive game, his defensive side has some things to be worked on. He can be caught out flat footed and blown by sometimes by other opponents. Telker has a fairly weak poke check that can sometimes be read ahead of time and avoided by other opponents. in one particular game against the Calgary AAA Bisons. Telker is seen on footage attempting a poke check in the defensive zone. the camera picks up the Bisons players reading the poke check and stick handling away to avoid it. Telker needs to get off the ice when he is tired rather then stay on and not be able to give 100%. He will spent multiple shifts some games of well over a minute. in certain situations this is fine, like the power play for example. In other situations it can result in the coach getting a bit aggregated at Telker. These long shifts haven't caused any major arguments yet, but Telker should change this to avoid a possible bad situation in the future with his coach.

Review: Really nice strengths and weaknesses section. Adding a conclusion maybe with some rookie goals would have been nice. Not sure about the font selection for the Strengths and Weaknesses sections. But overall I really enjoyed the writing.
