Potential Expansion landing spots

As has already been covered, earlier today Expansion was announced for the VHL. While the fact that two teams will be added, and who will GM those teams, was announced, the league withheld the information on where these teams will play. Whether they're playing coy, to maintain excitement, or they genuinely have not finalized where these teams will play is unknown. Insider sources have discovered that several cities have been discussed at decent length, including the following cities:

Milwaukee, WI - It is clear that the VHL is lacking in US representation, with only two American cities in its top league (New York and Seattle), and mixed feelings on those cities being true representatives for the US of A, a mid-west team could intrigue many of the league's members.

Detroit, MI - Another city ripe with hockey history, the city known as "Hockeytown, USA" would make a lot of sense

Los Angeles, CA - America's 2nd largest population was apparently talked about, but scrapped due to the large amount of Southwestern teams already in the VHLM, as well as the fact that LA, much like New York, does not represent a large portion of Americans.

Chicago, IL- Another mid-west city, this one with a lot more hockey history than the former mentioned Milwaukee, could Chi-town support 3 professional hockey teams?

Prague, Czech Republic - As has been the case in the last two European expansions (Moscow and Malmo), it is very likely the league heads to another international hockey power, and what better place than in the Czech Republic? The Prague Bangers might have a nice ring to it

Berlin, Germany - The VHL has already been to Germany before, as the S31 Expansion to 10 teams included the Cologne Express as one of the 2 new franchises at the time. Unfortunately, a dark era in the league necessitated retraction, and the Express were one of two cities to lose their team. Perhaps the league wishes to give the land of Beer and Bratwurst another shot?

Shanghai, China - While many people push for traditional hockey markets, it is believed that at least one of the league's commissioners is intrigued by the opportunity to enter a growing hockey market in China. Could we finally see the Shanghai Dragons enter the VHL and turn the European Conference into the Global Conference?
