Sullvino 289 Posted August 31, 2019 Share Posted August 31, 2019 Davos to Pick 4th Overall August 31, 2019 This week the S68 draft lottery was held and the Davos Dynamo's draft position was solidified as the #4 overall pick for the second consecutive year. Last year, the team selected Aston Martin with their pick, who appears to be on a solid career trajectory. The S68 draft class is very heavy in defensive talent, which is just what Davos wants to hear as they are expected to lose or move on from some of their veteran defensemen. The darling of the class is Condor Adrienne, who is a strong two-way defensemen with VHL size. If the Dynamo can't land Adrienne, there are still quite a few options to choose from including Lance Flowers, Jeff Downey, Wolf Stansson Jr or Luciano Valentino; all of which are strong options. Davos is set up well to grab a top flight defenseman, if they decide to focus on the backend, and continue to build a crop of young talent as they look to become a powerhouse in the VHL.
