DoktorFunk 731 Posted September 16, 2019 Share Posted September 16, 2019 Seattle, Washington Scott Greene of the Seattle Bears Retires Custom Hockey Gear Entirely Out of Velcro A few weeks ago we had reported that Seattle Bears centre Scott Greene had begun to skate in custom hockey gear made entirely of velcro. The latest word out of Seattle is that Greene has since stopped wearing this gear and has replaced it with gear made of silk. We asked Greene to comment on his new gear: "Well, season two in the VHL and I just got a big bonus. Might as well spend it on comfortable gear." Greene also had Gucci design a custom pair of hockey gloves and hip-hop producer and rapper Kanye West design his new skates. The new Kanye West x Adidas Yeezy Skates 4200 will be hitting sports equipment stores within the next couple of months. The skates prominently feature the Seattle Bears color scheme. Greene is expected to contribute in a big way to Seattle's success this year. Time will tell if he can maintain this extravagance.
