From the Desk of Chad Gilbert – It’s starting to Come Together?

Wow! As of this writing I’ve somehow become a top 10 player in points. Yes, I’m as surprised as you are!  I’ve already nearly surpassed my point total of last season, and I’ve for sure hit the back of the net more. I never thought I’d see the day. I put so much effort into improving my overall game and it’s so satisfying to see these results.  There’s a lesson in there somewhere.

All this, and I’m still dominating the Face off. A year older and a year wiser. I never dreamed I could evolve as a player like I have, and I have the VHLM to thank. God damn dad would be so proud of me!

Unfortunately my turnaround isn’t helping my team. After a hot start, the Marlins are sitting in last place and there’s not a lot of hope on the horizon. There’s no fingers to point anywhere, we need to work harder and grow together. It’s the only chase we have! There’s a lot of game left to play and I think we can do it!
