Vancouver Wolves Faltering After Hot Start

Vancouver, BC – After 10 games the Vancouver Wolves were the talk of the league. They had played their backup goaltender for all eight of his required games and were sitting atop the league at 9-1. Many of the Wolves’ fans were already planning the parade and thought that the pace was actually sustainable.

The truth was it wasn’t. Now through 22 games the Vancouver Wolves are sitting second in the league at 15-6-1. There are rumours of some unrest in the dressing room with the recent woes but Wolves’ defenseman Jeff Downey was quick to strike that down.

‘There have been rumours going around that there are problems in our dressing room after our recent struggles. The fact of the matter is that we are currently second in the league and are still playing well. We started the year off at an unsustainable pace and we are coming back to earth. I have no doubt we will be able to rebound and keep ourselves near the top of the league.’

The Wolves will need their new acquisition ACL TEAR to step up his play as he has struggled since coming to Vancouver and has only six points in 21 games so far this year.
