I think it would have to be Media Spots. You can get really creative with them.

I'd rather stay with the Marlins but the Americans in the Majors would be great.

You betcha! This is a great team and i enjoy my teammates.

 

5. Sunday was Valentine's Day. What's your favorite candy?

KitKat for sure. My wife and i bond over our shared love for them often.

1.  I actually like thenpress conferences.  I havent had a chance to do many others.

1. What's your favorite hobby?

My Favorite hobby is Dungeons & Dragons! Its a huge part of my life and i hope to bring my teammates into the lifestyle as well.

 

2. Does your player have another job at all?

Its not really a job... But I enjoy helping my neighbors and other team members and sometimes they pay me.

 

3. Who do you think will win the Founder's Cup? Mexico City Kings or Houston Bulls

Mexico City Kings are going to go home with the cup for sure.

 

4. If old enough to drink, what is your favorite beer/wine/spirit?

I like beer, beer is good for the soul. I'm not picky.

 

5. How fast does your skater skate?

I'm like liquid lightning.

 

6. If you could pick one other language to speak fluently, what would it be and why?

Well since i'm in San Diego, California.... Probably spanish.

during the offseason my player is working at the skating rink but was just recently offered a job to establish a new newspaper compared to vht with the new one being called victory hockey gazette.

i don't know who to cheer for cause I'm right now im creating a new newspaper for vhl/vhlm so i have to be biased towards both

any type of whiskey for me

not fast yet as I'm building my main 4 cores faceoffs and defense then on to the others.

6. If you could pick one other language to speak fluently, what would it be and why?

Japanese cause i read alot of manga and if i can speak Japanese fluently then i would know how to read the raws of the manga i read

Tough one.  So many.  Online OOTP baseball leagues maybe.  Sim leagues obviously, reading, watching movies, video games, reading ....

Was a waiter through his earlier junior days (age 16-18), but he's going all in to try to make a VHLM team now.

Mexico City.  lol, actually I'm answering after the fact.

I'll answer in each category:  really hoppy ale, pinot noir, gin and tonic.

Fast and getting faster.

Welsh - beautiful with deep roots and I have some Welsh ancestry.

Offseasons in general are a bit boring with nothing happening, drafts are fun.

2. Is there is a special place you go to unwind after a stressful season?

Skiing in the Swiss Alps, cozy cottage and all.

I would have liked to win the cup with Jokinen still in Davos, but sadly that didn't happen.

4. What are you aspirations for this upcoming season?

Winning and scoring. Lots of wins and points. Earn a lot of TPE.

VHLM draft 100% yes. Can't wait to see which team drafts me

Umm, scouting prospects to have a succesful draft I guess.

I didn't really have a plan, being my first season I was lost for a while but now I gor

My aspiration has been and will always be to have more TPE than @Eldredman.

1. Going into S77 I honestly couldn't be more excited to get back on the ice and get the train rolling!

 

2. I got picked up in the draft.

 

3. My expectations individually aren't to high.. going into my first season, I still have a lot to learn and to grow from but my expectations of the team are pretty high, we got a good group of guys here that just want to win.

 

4. I have definitely been working on a few things for sure.. I don't want to spoil the surprise but let's just say if things go well you will here my name often on the score sheet.

 

5. I moat certainly did experience the DRAFT HYPE and to be honest I still am. An absolute unforgettable experience!!

 

6. Honestly I think management is doing great, got a great team so far and even better locker room chemistry! Management has done a lot to bring this team together and I have no doubt in my mind.

Excited does not begin to describe it.  Had a great career with Guy Lesieur and can't wait to get started with Tessier.

2. Did you get picked by a team in the draft or hoping for a wavier?

I am very grateful to have been drafted by San Diego.

3. What are your expectations this season?

I first and foremost want to have a blast with my teammates on and off the ice.  Second, I'd like to make a run at the playoffs and the Cup.  Came close before, but the ultimate prize still eludes me.  Third, to build the foundation for becoming an elite 1C in the VHL.

4. Do you have a special plan for your player?

I'm going to go for as close to max earning as possible.  Let's see if I can do that for one full season and then we can worry about season 2. lol

5. Did you experience the DRAFT HYPE?
Yes, always so cool to see where you are going to start your career and then meeting all your new teammates.

6. If there is something you think the management should work on this Season, what would it be and why?

Just creating and maintaining a great LR experience.  Everything else flows from that.  I'll do my best to help.

-I wanna be pretty defensive. Gonna invest TPE mainly in that then build around it once I max it out long term.

-Yes! I was pretty sure I'd be going back to Halifax but once they didn't take me 19th I was hyped to see where I'd end up.

I'm uber excited! It'll be my second season, but now I actually understand what is going on.

Pretty happy to be drafted.

I expect some awesome team building and hopefully as my TPE improves so will my player.

Nothing specific, I would like to write more media spots about Nessie but I need to brainstorm some ideas.

It was pretty fun watching both drafts and the suspense and excited buzz that went on in chats.

I can't think of anything specific.

Get up, eat exactly 12 sunflower seeds (salted in the shell), head to the rink to be 1 hour earlier than team to play through game in my head and greet teammates as they arrive, suit up always putting on left skate first and then hit the ice.

2. My game day ritual is usually just getting down in the ice ahead of everyone.. get in a good skate to get a feel foe the ice and then always clap one bar down before going in the LR and just zoning out in my music to get in the zone till puck drop.

3. I have my girlfriend and parents in the crowd along with my 2 brothers

5. I cannot say honestly because there are a lot of good teams this year and it could go to anyone but Houston looks like a good front runner.

-How you've found your time on the site and what keeps you engaged, I've found its hard to really get into VHL so would be interesting to hear the perspective of guys really active on it.
