Harris lands in Moscow

The first obstacle since being drafted by the Moscow Menace at pick number twenty three, which was the eleventh pick in the second round of the VHL draft was definitely the language barrier. Being from the East Coast of the United States, with Irish roots. It was definitely a culture shock to step off the airplane and put feet on the hallowed ground that has produce countless great Russian hockey players. Yet, when the team sends a escort that speaks absolutely no English and just uses gestures to get his point across, it could be a sign of ominous things to come. Gavin Harris will not be deter though. A language barrier can be surpassed. Harris and his new teammates plan to do their talking on the ice. I suppose that the VHL Champions saw something in the character of Harris to choose him where they did.

The second thing that caught his eye is the size of the new arena he will be playing him. Every step of his journey the buildings get bigger and the amenities get better. Moscow is no different. The facilities offered by the Moscow Menace are second to none and have certainly impressed Gavin Harris right off the bat. There is no predicting the future, but if I was to lay a guess out there I would say this match could be one of the best that has come out of the draft.  His style will help the Menace return to the playoffs and make a run for the cup for years to come.
