If anyone carried their team on their back last season it was Barabash. He had 17 more goals then the next highest Wrangler and 30 more points then the 2nd highest forward.  I expect career highs in almost all categories. I also predict he finally breaks the 40 goal plateau.

Wranglers newly appointed captain Jordan Tonn will look to replicate last seasons success. Calgary's top scoring defenseman and 2nd in points overall will be looking to lead this team deep into the playoffs. I am predicting similar numbers , with him finishing closer to the elusive point per game status as a  Dman.

Stropko Jr. is the Wranglers best all around defenseman. A true shutdown defender as he lead the team in shot blocks and was 3rd in hits. I predict a slight dip in points but this is not a knock on Stropko. He will most likely lead the team in most defensive categories.

Paddywagon had a great season with great all around stats. He followed up his 43 point season with 1 goal 11 assists in 18 playoff games. I predict a slight dip in goals next season and an increase in assists as the forwards begin to score more goals.

Jubis made big improvements in his sophomore season beating his rookie season in all categories. He has established himself as a large power forward recording 164 hits last season. He had two fights, both victories. I expect his 3rd VHL season to be a slight breakout year. I predict 25+ goals.

Okada had a big increase in points in his sophomore season. With the Wranglers having 3 centers Okada and  Lahtinen are the two most difficult predictions. I believe Okada will establish himself as one of the great playmakers on the team. He finished last season strong. I'm thinking he hits right around 50 points.

SIGARD GUNNAR  (Left Wing)

Gunnar will yet be another player I'm predicting to have a career year in all categories. He finished last season 2nd in goals and looks to improve on that. The energetic player has got 55+ points in him.

KEFKA PALAZZO (Right Wing)

Palazzo started last season with 8 goals in the first 10 games. It was short lived as he scored 9 goals over the next 62 games. I have him falling just short of 40 points. Kefka seems to be a streaky player if he gets hot, he will easily surpass my predictions.

Kris Rice had a great rookie season which saw him finish 2nd in scoring among all rookies. If he can establish any sort of chemistry with his linemates call the breakout police!  I have him doubling his assists total. Wowsers 60 points !!!!

No doubt in my mind Lahtinen has a big increase in points. How much is the question. Calgary's depth makes it difficult to predict. Got you down for 20 goals and 35 points Lahtinen. Come out strong and prove me wrong. Could surpass all expectations and bust out for 50+points.

Ohdraka had a solid season making the jump to the VHL. Calgary is one of the deepest teams in the VHL. The Wranglers carry a large roster and their depth had Ondrej playing behind two other left wings. I see his numbers improving and being a solid contributor for his team. If Ohdraka surpasses my expectations I wouldnt be surprised. Hes a good player.

I have Encarnacion making a massive jump in points. With the departure of Cody Smith I have Edwin filling those shoes. With increased ice time I think he will thrive with the opportunity. Expect big things from this guy this season.

Lafontaine will be heavily relied upon this upcoming season. The rookie , turned #1 goalie will most likely play the max amount of games this season. Luckily for him he has a solid defense lineup in front of him. I see Lafontaine breaking out for a big season with Calgary. Recording over 40 wins !!!

I wanted to see how realistic my predictions could be. Based on my player goal predictions this would have Calgary scoring 208 goals next season. 17 more goals then last season when they scored 191. For reference Moscow scored 250 goals last season and Vancouver 219 goals.
