S69 Draft November 17th, 2019

Its been a season and a quarter of s71 since I last created one of these. Let's revisit the players from the S69 1st round draft.  For fun I will rank players 1 though 12 based on TPE earned since the draft. Tpe numbers and stats were taken between 08:00-08:30Am EST April 2, 2020. This time I started from the from 12th and worked my way to 1st. I had no idea my player was 1st.  I'm not that kind of person. Anyways enjoy heres a glimpse into where everyone is currently at. Sorry Riga but you missed big time on Storm.

Just a little bias

I did the exact same one in December. Saskamoose was top earner at #1.  He is now #8.

How are statistics and facts bias

What about the two top earners in the S69 draft though? Hint: they weren't selected :P

That always confused me. How are you two considered s69 but weren't draft eligible

The last GM players. GMs used to be allowed to have two players at a time, one of which would go straight to the team and skip the draft. Barabash Jr. and Stropko Jr. are both Bush's players, but Barabash skipped the draft and went straight to Calgary.

This was discontinued, but Washington, Louth, and Pavlova in Prague are the three last ones who were grandfathered in under the old rules.

Ok that makes sense now. Thanks.

If I do this list again I can try and add these guys. Not sure how I'd find out what their tpe total was at draft time if they never were drafted. Wouldnt really want to go through and calculate each players updates. That would be a nightmare. I would be very curious to see how much tpe you 3 have earned since November 17th tho. Especially Washinton lol. See how they stack up

The problem with this is that it all depends on who claimed one time TPE before and after the draft. I haven’t missed any TPE I’ve been eligible in my career.

The creates the bias as everything is not equal. IMO VHL Statline is more telling Draft success over TPE earned on some arbitrary point in time.

Love how I went 18th overall in this draft class

the office lol GIF

(in terms of TPE I’ve gained +454 (111 to 565) since the S69 draft, and haven’t even donated once for the extra tpe either.)

Review: Very well laid out and excellent use of photos. I like how you purely went to keeping this ranking based on stats rather than opinion. This keeps it at unbiased as possible even though the two top guys are Calgary players :P. It would be interesting to see one of these based on points rather than TPE at the end of the season. Rating 8/10

Nice read. I went 21st in this draft and have gained 414 TPE since the draft, without any donations. I was also a late joiner to this class ☺️

Love to hear these stories ??and glad you've stuck with it.

Next time I do another one of these again and I'll add round 2 draftees to the mix.
