Looking back

With a third of the season under our belt, all the teams seem to have settled down and are working on small details to improve each game. Also with most team, except the bottom two, are playing .500 hockey and better, there is a lot of competition to stay in the mix. A couple of bad sims could find your team a few spots lower in the standings.

An interesting stat that stands out a bit to me, being on Seattle Bears team, we went from having a fairly solid defensive last season to one of the porous. Seattle flipped around and has one of the top offenses in the league. We did lose a lot of talent from last season and it is showing in some ways that you wouldn't except. My player, LeGrande, switched from defense to offense during the off season. I would have to say it did hurt the back end a bit but he is doing fine as a forward. Not great, but holding his own.

I look for the season to continue with close games and head shakers. Good stuff.

Word count 182.
