Uhtred scored his 10th goal last week and in doing so has achieved one of his personal goals for the season.   During Bears training camp we had a chance to speak with Uhtred about his expectations he placed on himself for his rookie season.   The statistical targets he wanted to achieve are to score 10 goals and record 40 points and take at least 2 shots per game.

Uhtred’s 10th goal came late in the 3rd period on the powerplay vs Prague.  His goal sent the Bears into overtime where ACL Tear secured the win for the Bears.   Uhtred has already hit his goal scoring target but he is slightly off the pace to score 40 points right now. His 22 points in 42 games  so far this season puts him on pace to record 38 points on the season, just slightly under target.  The good news for Uhtred is that with the season just past the halfway mark there is still plenty of time to increase his production to achieve his preseason goal.  Uhtred is well on pace to achieve his 2 shots per game target with 135 shots which works out to be 3.21 shots per game. He has pretty much achieved this target already as he will only need 9 more shots this season to guarantee at least 2 shots per game.
