RJ Jubis had a solid season that kept him in the top 10 in scoring all season. With just 2 assists in his final 5 games, his hopes of stealing the scoring title faded away. With Jet Jaguar's @gorlab 97 pts and Condor Adrienne's @OrbitingDeath 100 pts , Jubis stood no chance.  Putting the final 5 games aside , his season was built on consistency. One stretch during the season he went on a tear, with an impressive 18 game point streak. Instant chemistry with Calgary Wranglers teammate and breakout star center @Beketov Mikko Lahtinen may have contributed to Jubis's own breakout. His season 71 saw him breakout for 30 goals but just 25 assists , 55 points. I would have not expected a 93 point season from Jubis going into S72.

RJ  finished just 2 goals shy of the elusive 40 goal mark. This is probably one milestone he would have liked to have achieved. He was pacing 40+ goals for most of the season. Looking deeper into his stats, he finished a +43 only behind teammate Sigard Gunnar @Big Mac. Both players played on a strong Wranglers team that ended up winning the Victory Cup. A dip in hits can be expected as Jubis was one of the Wranglers main puck carriers. Mikko Lahtinen tended to throw the big hit and Jubis would pickup the lose puck.  A responsible player with just 41 PIM, he stayed out of the box as much as possible. When push comes to shove he does not shy away from dropping the gloves. He fought once in season 72. Fun fact Jubis has never lost a fight in his 4 season career. Looking at his ice time, he finished 65th in average minutes played. He played less minutes than every other top 10 scorer. He was the only top 10 scorer to play a season total under 2000 minutes. He only played more minutes than 4 other players in the top 30 scorers. For comparison Condor Adrienne played 249 minutes more than Jubis. Which would equate to approximately 8-9 more games played. Does more minutes, mean necessarily more points... no!  More minutes never hurt anyone's point production tho.  Only Jet Jaguar finished with a better points per 20 minutes played ratio at 0.95 than Jubis  at 0.94 . Jubis's season tho very respectable is not worthy of any personal awards.  It is rumored that his main goal has always been winning a Continental Cup with his teammates.

RJ Jubis's sole focus is currently on the VHL playoffs. He wants to take it one game at a time and one series at a time. Hopefully ending with him winning his first cup. For this to happen he will have to seriously improve on his past playoff performances.  In S70 Calgary went to the Cup Finals. Jubis had only 3 goals 4 assists 7 points in 18 games played. Not the best production from the big winger. The Wranglers returned to the playoffs in S71. They lost to Vancouver in 6 games, Jubis had 3 goals and 1 assist.  If Jubis can score some goals in the playoffs maybe Calgary can win its first Continental Cup since S62.

Review: You hit the word mark, the use of the statistics at the top was a nice touch. Very happy it wasn’t a photo of a bruins player. Very solid breakdown of your players season and the addition of your teammates throughout the article shines a little light on their successes as well. Nice work Jubby! Rating: 7.5/10
