Oh Sens – Prospect Scouting Report

Oh Sens is a part of the new VHLM expansion team – Miami Marauders, where he has shown that he is a part of the leader group and he is not scared to take advantage of opportunities. Although this prospect is not gonna be a top 5 pick but he could be one of the sleeper picks. Sens has shown a lot of good signs about his play and his potential is just getting bigger. A strong player from Japan will need to prove a lot of people wrong because he wants people to hear his name everywhere.

Accurate shooting- Oh Sens has been terrific shooter this season and he is continuing his way in playoffs too. In-game 6 he scored a hattrick, but that didn’t help Marauders to win. Sens shot is really strong and maybe sometimes it is not the most accurate but the puck goes so fast, that it is hard to react to it.  Oh Sens scored 28 goals this season and in playoffs, in 6 games he has scored 5 goals.

Versatile game- Japanese wonder kid is not an offensive guy only. He plays really smart on defense and he can use his strong physical power to throw a big hit. His game on both sides shows really well in stats. This season, being part of the expansion team, Sens had the best +/- in the team. Marauders trusted Oh Sens to do the correct choices in defense and he clearly used it to the maximum.

Physicality-  Oh Sens height may not be the biggest, but he compensates it with his strong play. Teammates have said about Sens, that he arrives at the gym first and leaves it last. Sens works really hard to be as strong as possible and he is not scared of hits. When the game time comes, Oh Sens becomes a bloodhound that hunts for his enemy, and he takes it out and scores goals.

Controversial player- Oh Sens shows his best play when the game comes around, but when there is no playing, then Sens sometimes gets in trouble. The team that picks Sens may have to get a strong attorney team. But while Sens becomes older, hopefully, he will become smarter and will stop making dumb choices.

Passing- Sens may not be the worse passer, but he has some room to grow. He is getting his passes out, but watching his game this season there are a lot of inaccurate passes.

 

Oh Sens has got a lot of years in front of him and only after a couple of years we will see if Sens will be bust or money.
