I would have to say Moscow is right now!

It has been really good so far and Glass keeps improving. 2nd line is firing!

I don't mind it. Compared to snow though I love the rain!

Cake is great and I like ice cream cake or yellow cake with chocolate frosting

Yes, usually a baseball cap or if I am in a cold place a trapper hat honoring the goat GMO Skee

1). No way, we're clicking and doing very well right now. No need to change it up.

2). Helsinki or Moscow.

3). A lot of people might look at my drop in points again statistically from the past 2 seasons as a failure, but I am more than happy. My +/- for the team is great, our defense is help create shutout opportunities for our goalies, and we are limiting a lot of team's scorers offensive chances. That's a win for me.

5). Love it. The wetness and smell of rain plus the slight coolness is really nice, and then heading home and sitting in a warm house listening to the rain is really relaxing!

6). Can't I have both? Lol if I had to pick one, pie. Specifically apple pie.

7). Kind of, I have some hats that I wear but I mainly wear them when I'm hiking, camping, or doing something outdoors. Mainly just baseball hats or beanies.

I think Moscow is our biggest threat.  They have some great players

 

3. How do you feel about your players performance thus far this season? 

 

It's been  good.  It's been a very streaky season so fire with some okay periods with some on fire sims.  Dropped off a career season high pace from earlier this season.

 

5. It’s currently raining where I live, where it only rains a handful of times a year. Do you love or hate the rain?

 

I don't mind it, better than snow at this time of the year.  In summer just hate rain on weekends.

 

6. Would you rather a piece of pie or cake? Which kind?

 

I'd say a piece of chocolate cake would be best but a good apple pie is a close second.

 

7. Are you a hat person? If so which style of hat ?

No not really, only wear one for weather reasons. Baseball cap if golfing which isn't often .  In winter a toque normally a TFC one.

1. Honestly given how well we are doing, it would be cool to see some adds that bring us over the edge

3. Honestly I'm doing a lot better than I would've expected, which has been a great experience

4. Hell yeah seems like a lot of people like similar games so that sounds like a blast.

5. I love rain to be honest, love the smell, love going out and getting soaked.

6. Cake has a higher potential for being good, but the average pie is better, so I'd probably bet on the pie, maybe like a peach or apple pie.

7. Hats give me headaches, never figured out why but it makes the experience a lot worse.

1. I honestly think Prague benefits the most immediately but I can see Davos benefiting in the long run

 

2. Yes I think we have enough but it will likely come down to the very end of the season

I really liked that trade for Prague but they have failed in goalie trades before

Extremely! It is what I play for. A chance at a cup!

1. There's been some big trades during the season for the first time in forever! Who do you think benefits the most from these trades? 

I don't know. I was a little concerned that SS Hornet got let go for comparatively little, but I think some of the other trades Davos made were decent. Hard to say til we at least see the respective drafts pan out, but I think Davos (who was involved in most of the trades) came out about the same as they started.

Of course!! Whether we actually do it is another question, I think, so we'll have to keep fighting like crazy.

 

3. Do you post on any social media platforms?

Not particularly. I only use Facebook for the messenger at times, and have a very private Instagram account that I do not keep particularly active. Does that count?

 

4. If a young fan asks you for your autograph, are you more than willing to give it?

Of course!! It is unusual to have this many female players in the VHL at once, so I suspect players like Lexi and I need to serve as role models for equality and representation in a very physical sport!

 

5. Valentine's Day is coming up! Do you have a special person in your life?

Romantically, no. I do love to spend some time with my best friend Venus though!

 

6. What is your favourite chocolate?

Frellsen Chokolade is my personal favorite. Venus says they're a bit overrated, but I think it's wonderful!!

 

7. How pumped are you for another chance at the playoffs this season?

Pshh, does it even need to be said? My plan is to see Venus in the finals!!

2). I think we do but we need to play our absolute best to overtake them.

3). Mainly use Twitter and Instagram but even that isn’t a whole lot.

4). Absolutely! It’s always great to see the young fans light up when you hand them your signature.

5). I do, my wife is my everything. We’ve only been married for 2 and a half years but we have known each other for a total of 8 and a half. She’s my best friend and I can’t imagine a day without her. 
6). I’m weird and love the Russell Stover chocolates, I love all of the interesting flavors and look forward to getting boxes for cheap a day after Valentine’s Day.

7). Super pumped, like I said in the beginning of this season in my predictions, Warsaw is going to win it all!!

2. I definitely think we have what it takes to overtake Moscow to secure that spot

2. absolutely, we are on a tear and I can't see that slowing down for anyone

3. Not as much as I'd like but yeah every now and then you can find me on twitter and instagram posting

1. Probably Moscow or Helsinki, but it’s really whoever we have to play

2. Riga has surprised me as that they managed to be close to the playoffs despite being a pretty young team

3. If I have to pick one person I’d go with Krishna, but everyone has played big roles

5. Waters he has became a great offensive defenseman this year

6. Probably our goalies because they have an ability to steal us games if we don’t play well 

8. Basketball 

9. for the Malmo job I think Hylands will get it 

10. Vegas, because having such a big city with so many casinos gives players more ways to burn money

1). Moscow. If we can clear moscow by limiting their offensive power then we have a great chance of going to the finals.

3). I'd go Latrell Mitchell, they lead in hits and shots blocked. On top of that, they have put up a career best 80 points so far with a few more games to go.

4). Green apples!

5). Chris Reynolds. They have had a big leap forward in their second year with Warsaw.

6). Goaltending. Carson has shown his ability to excel in a backup role this season and Krishna is leading the way.

10). I'm gonna say Philadelphia. Hockey is pretty big in the area. Although I'd be more of an advocate to seeing a future VHL team in Colorado, there's a big empty spot in the middle of North America on the VHL Portal map

Mitchell.  He is second in team scoring and crushes people and eats pucks every game.

Our forward have been great so I'll say that.  Our offense is what makes us so strong.

I will say soccer is underrated in North America for sure.

I'll go with baseball.  I rarely watch a game unless I'm at it but I still will follow jays news.  People say soccer is boring but love baseball.

I would have to say Glass. Over 30 goals finally!

Baseball. It is an amazing sport that everyone says is dying but it lives!

Moscow, of course! I think you could make an argument for Vancouver, too, but we wouldn't see them 'til the championship if we were to make it there.

 

2. Who is in the playoff race that has surprised you the most this season?

Can I answer this question the opposite way? I'm surprised by HC Davos's miserable season, especially provided the quality of their top players (before they all got sold).

 

3. Who has been the team MVP this season and why?

Krishna is the first guy that comes to mind. He's been very consistent (as consistent as you can be in STHS anyways) and at the top of the league. He even had a shutout recently!

 

4. Which player on Warsaw do you think has improved the most this season?

Chris Reynolds is my pick for this one! He's taken a huge leap forward in scoring and has flipped from being a slightly below-average player to a markedly above-average one!

 

5. Which position group do you feel most confident in on the team as the postseason draws near?

This is like asking a parent to pick a favorite child! I do not have a position group I feel 'most confident' in, per se. I like our chances in the post season because of all of them, not in spite of one or two of them.

 

6. What do you think is the most underrated sport excluding hockey?

I think roller derby is very much underrated as a spectator sport AND as a sport to play! There are certainly some very physical players there, and it's pretty high-impact too.

1. Yes I’m happy with the season I had, was much better then last year 

 

2. Doesn’t matter it’s the playoffs now anything can happen

1). I am! I put up about the same amount of points as last year but with a much better +/-.

2). We start over.  Everyone in the playoffs has 0 wins and 0 loses. We go into this ready to fight.

3). Keeping the blue line well defended and passing the puck to our superstars.

5). Absolutely, especially since I predicted us winning it all this year. If I'm right I'm gonna go look for wallets in the parking lot cause I'm that lucky!

6). Heck I'd take anybody but I'd love either Qdoba or a car company like Mercedes Benz or Tesla.

7). I love them, and Six Flags Magic Mountain probably is my favorite so far.

1) I'm actually really happy with my performance in limited minutes this season! I was really dialed in and I'm super proud.

2) All I'm saying is I was on a team who ended second in the regular season and won the cup

3) Luckily I am mostly here to learn. I will certainly be ready if given the opportunity but man do I have faith in the team in front of us

4) We did a great job outshooting our opponents and the more you shoot the more you score easy.

5) Oh you know it. Last cup I won I got plastered in my basement and played some Jackbox. I'm ready for another one of those.

7) Yeah I love amusement parks, I used to go to Canada's Wonderland all the time so that has some nostalgia for me.

I do! I really enjoy Disney World and Six Flags (new england and georgia)
