Ottawa is crazy

5 games have passed and where are we now? Ottawa is on a 4-1 record with a 4 game winning streak. Arthur Dayne is leading the team in points with 13. WE HAVE BEEN ON A FIRE. We are optimistic and feeling great about this awesome start for S73. One thing that has been amazing is the locker room atmosphere after a win and before a game. Everyone is electric and hyped to show the best of the abilities on ice and that competition is what is keeping us going.

Winning games are a team effort. Everyone plays a role that is crucial to the team. Lee Xin has been playing on a line with Alec Volchenkov and Theodore James St. Louis on the 5 on 5 but he also has been getting some power play time with Alec and Lexi Glass. Despite him being a RW in nature, Lee Xin has been doing well on the LW with 4G and 1A in 5 games. However, we have to keep our foot on the gas as the season just started. "Ajay Krishna and the defenseman have been doing so well helping us from the back end there. We would never be able to score much without their help because we can trust them back there. Less worries on our mind, you know." Lee Xin said after the game against Minnesota.

Clearly, the lines have worked for Ottawa as they continue the season competing for the cup. Majority of their draft picks have made it into their lineup this season from the start like Lexi and Lee. They have been producing for Ottawa goals and assists. I can't wait to see where they are at the end of the season and when the VHL draft comes.
