CALGARY - Jacques Lafontaine has always worn goalie gear from CCM. All of his custom pads, his helmets, his blocker, his gloves, and his sticks have come from there. However, one change people might notice if they look closely is that recently, he switched to another brand for his gear.

 

Now you have to wonder, which brand did he choose to wear? Vaughn? Warrior? Lefevre? Or maybe even Koho? Well, it turns out he chose none of those brands and has decided to get gear from a brand that has been long forgotten. A brand that the likes of Ryuu Crimson have used.

 

“I don’t know what happened to this brand. It used to be one of the biggest out there. While it disbanded a while ago, I discovered some old gear in a store and like how it felt. In my opinion, I think it should have never stopped production. I love CCM but I think this is the best gear I’ve used in my life.”

 

What is this long lost brand now only told in ancient legends? The long lost brand that the VHL used to sponsor.
