1. Well i'm not eligible for the VHL draft so it looks like I'll be back for a full VHLM season. I try to focus on what I can control and I can't control which team I end up on. I have my preferences of course but I'll go anywhere to further my career.

 

2. Well I got to meet some good people and I got to make a solid start here in the M. Now I just gotta build on that 14-game preview next season.

 

3. I want to see the Phantoms win a cup, they got a lot of former Wild players on the roster and it would be nice to see them win.

 

4. Well I think it'll be a tight playoffs this year it's too hard to say. 

 

5. I pay attention the juniors every year as it's a excellent tournament for new players to try and get  VHL scouts to notice them. The Pro Am Tournament is also a excellent tournament and @PatrikLaine and the guys there have done a great job at keeping people entertained and included during the offseason.

 

6. I have never been to Saskatchewan, the furthest west I've been is to Winnipeg, Manitoba.

- I'm not draft eligible as I've already been drafted. But I remember that my draft process was rather boring, only 2 teams reached out and it was clear that one team just sent a spam message to everyone and the other team actually took an interest in me.

- Everyone from Saskatoon should come to Prague

- Lead VHL rookies in Hits

Its been boring, it feels like its been going on forever.

I've been hitting the gym and following a strict workout schedule and dietery plan. Hoping to set up good habits for myself early in my career

Not really, but I wouldn't mind making a return to the Wild.

I hope to play well enough to get my ass selected in the 1st round of the S78 VHL Draft.

I've been going hard on the cardio. Running, Swimming, you name it.

Didn't make the team for the juniors and I didn't look into the Pro-Am for this offseason, I'm guessing that I'm too late to sign up.

Im going to work more on my conditioning. I could sure use a few more pounds of muscle out there.

No, and I wont be for a bit. In Ontario I'm in the last age group that'll get vaccinated. They're giving it out to citizens who are at risk and workers in the healthcare field first, which is the right call IMO. So Ill just be patient and wait until it becomes available to me before I make the decision on if Ill even take it or not.

1. I'm not gonna lie, I'm hoping that it's going to be me, but you can never be sure about those things.

 

2. Sadly not, but I'm gunning to appear at the WJC next season.

4. It's going to be at like 3am where I'm based, so unlikely. It will be a nice surprise to find out in the morning, or if I get woken up by phone calls.

 

5. I've been improving my strength, but I want to keep focusing on my scoring. The aim is to be over a point per game next season.

I feel great, happy to be back. I kinda did expect to come here but I wasnt so sure at one point. Glad it worked out though.

I dont really have any personal milestones Id like to hit. But I want to be able to bring my best game every night and help this team make the playoffs this year.

I think our chances are very good. I think we assembled a very good team this year and were going to be doing a lot of damage to other teams. Kudos to the management team as they did a great job this offseason.

 

4. Who do you think will be our most valuable player in S77?

@BrutalBoostAndrew Bowman I think will be our most valuable player. He's already been in the league for a bit and I think his veteran experience is going to help settle things down when we face adversity.

 

5. How is your favorite NHL team doing? 

Meh, not good not bad. They're not very consistent. My habs were comfortably in a nice playoff spot to start the year but they've been bad enough lately that other teams have caught up and their two last losses to the Flames didn't help.

 

6. If you had one suggestion to improve the VHLM, what would it be?

Drop the TPE limit for the WJC.

I didn't expect to be drafted here, but I'm excited to be here. I think we have a really good shot at winning, which is awesome. So, I'd call it a pleasant surprise.

2. What are your personal goals for this season?

Win the cup, score a lot of points and be drafted to Davos.

3. What do you think of our chances for a Cup?

If not the favorites to win, we're at least top 3. We have a good shot at it.

4. Who do you think will be our most valuable player in S77?

Nixon Caldwell or Andrew Bowman, depends on who puts up a bigger show.

5. How is your favorite NHL team doing? 

Habs are 4th in the North division. Room for improvement.

6. If you had one suggestion to improve the VHLM, what would it be?

Improve first gen retention and activity in general? really a baseline for every goal in VHLM.

yes, or I sure hope we keep it up.

One word: Boring. The longer the offseason the more bored people become and that's no fun.

A beautiful resort house in the Swiss Alps.

Our GM's uncle's house is nice. Lots of room. I wonder how he made all the money for a massive house like that... I like peace and quiet and there's a lot of it at the GM's uncle's house.

Patience. Also, Davos is a really nice city. Highly recommend it.

It all comes down to consistency, which we struggled with last season. IF we can just trust ourselves and trust each other, nobody can stop us.

Got some ups and downs right now. Mostly downs. But winning makes everything better!

Be good. Work hard. Trust yourself, trust your teammates. If it's bad, don't worry - it'll get better. If it's good, be careful - it'll get worse.

All he's done since then is score a VHLM-leading 21 goals, and his 43 points are tied for first in the VHLM. What has Montana done to elevate his game in such an impressive way?

 

3. David Tavau @Ahma has established himself as not only the best playmaker with the puck on Saskatoon, but in the entire VHLM as well, leading the league with 33 assists. How important is it having a defenseman that is so adept at facilitating the puck?

Well just looking at the last two games we are not only sweeping on scoring our goalie is doing amazing

Having a 75 scoring and a 63 passing means you will pass less and shoot alot more and since we can control the puck we have more scoring chances

If we have someone who gets assists that means they can handle the puck and if you handle the puck you can prevent people from shooting
