Riga’s season is officially over. After losing Game 4 of the wildcard round to the Prague Phantoms, it is time hit the golf course as their off-season has begun. It was an achievement in itself for the Reign just making these playoffs but, of course they wanted to make some noise and get as far as they could.

Game 1 was a tightly contested affair between the 2 sides, with a 3rd period powerplay goal, scored by John LeClair II, giving the Prague Phantoms a 3-2 lead and ultimately letting them take game 1 of the series. Game 2 was no where near as close as the first as the Phantoms flexed their offensive muscles and blow past Riga, winning the game 6-1 and giving them a 2-0 series lead. In game 3, Riga put in quite the shift as goaltender Calvin Harvey stood on his head, earning a shut out and pulling a game back for his team. Prague quickly learned from their mistakes and once again turned up their offensive firepower to beat the Reign, ending their playoffs run, and advance to the first round of playoffs where they will play the Moscow Menace.

Some notable performances for the Reign were Artair McCloud who scored 2 goals and an assist for 3 points, Cabe McJake who had 1 goal and 2 assist for 3 points and Justin Lose who got himself 3 assists.
