ThePerfectNut 563
This is the first time that Luke Thornton is having a good start in his pro career. He is starting the season with 31 points, which 16 of those are goals in 27 games only. He is on pace for a 40 goal season which will be a career high for him. We can notice that he is hitting people a lot less, which is upsetting him a little bit, but he is playing great defence this season. Which he was pretty bad at it the last 2 years since he was a -12 and a -15. Luke Thornton still think he can bring more to the table since he is one of the highest ranked guy in the league. He feels he is being suppresed of being a better player that he believe that he can become, but he has not choice but to play the team system until the remaining of his contract. Luke Thornton found himself just right outside of the top 10 in every single major forward stats which is frustrating and he's starting to seek some advice from his swedish brother Onde Sandstrom. He had 3 amazing years which seperated his level from Luke Thornton which made himself a little bit jealous. Not to mention, he already had a cup in his very first season. Maybe Luke Thornton truly can not shine without his brother Onde Sandstrom like in the good old sweden days in Sweden Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/104288-luke-thornton-first-ever-good-start-in-a-regular-season/ Share on other sites
