Pre-Draft Jitters For John Baard

John Baard has had a great year following both his personal success and that of his team, the Houston Bulls. During his abbreviated season, Baard was able to put up a very solid 44 points in only 49 games with 34 of those points coming from assists. all the while, being +11 on the season, which helped propel the Bulls to a 7th place finish and pull off an upset over the 2nd seeded Halifax 21st. However when it came to the next series which resulted in a sweep loss for Houston, Baard was nowhere to be found. Many people think that this was due to the fact that Baard is due to be picked somewhere in the first round and was worried about how his performance may affect his draft stock. While not as impressive overall. This also helped John snap out of his scoring streak with two goals in the 4 games of the series.
