After being claimed by Saskatoon, Oskars Harumpf is already speculating at where he may fit into the line up. As a playmaking center who's strong on draws, he should be able to slot in on the 2nd line with some powerplay duty and possible penalty kill work. Currently Tobias Funke is manning the 2nd line, but Harumpf already has a higher face off and defense rating, so it should be an upgrade for the Wild. His wingers on line 2 would be shoot first player Walt Pringle and physical forward Boris Belov. That line could find some chemistry as it would be comprised of a playmaking center, scoring winger and physical winger, exactly the kind of line that makes coaches drool. A triple threat if you will. Harumpf would look good on line 2, but it's even possible he gets a shot on line 1 with the big boys. It all depends on how much responsibility the coaches want to give him right out of the gate. He's definitely talented enough to be a top pivot and has been working hard, but he may need a few games to earn his spot. One thing is for sure, scouts expect Harumpf to burst onto the VHLM scene when he does hit the ice. It'll be worth following the career of the diminutive danish scoring sensation.
