Miami is making a rush for the playoffs!

If you were to say this to anyone at the start of the season you would of seemed crazy. Unfortunately after the Marauders won their Founder's Cup last season they had many departures and very few draft picks to continue their push towards another championship, but after a few strong signings throughout the season Miami has become a playoff contender currently sitting in 8th place tied with Mexico City.

The signings Miami made early in the season included Yun Chiang (RW), Jeremy D (C), and Sick Nuzuki (LW) which currently stands as the teams big scoring front line. Yun Chiang has solidified himself as a goal scoring forward while both Jeremy D and Sick Nuzuki are playing very strong roles both having career years in the VHLM. After signing these three names to be the teams forwards, the next question was goaltender which was quickly answered with the signing of Juha Jarvinen who has developed into one of the best goaltenders in the league.

These early season signings were the only signings this developing team has made though as they also picked up defenseman Xiaoping Benguin Dinghao Sonei who still to this day is the only defenseman on the team and Center Juan "Borderline" Wong who lights up the ice with his skating, but still is a threat scoring multiple goals this season. These midseason signings built the depth that this team needed, but some pieces were still missing if they wanted to find themselves in a playoff position.

Those pieces were just filled with two new signings of forwards Adriane Leblanc and Ipo Kawaii who will be playing in their first games very soon. These new players will have to quickly find their places on a team struggling to find a spot in the playoffs, but that fact that this team is in a position to be in the playoffs is amazing in and of itself. As the end of the season marches perilously onward all the spectators can do is watch as the teams play on and finalize their standings.
