Our intrepid heroes have played an other three games against Ottawa, San Diego and Miami.

As it is almost tradition, the game against the Lynx was a loss, albeit a tighter one then previously with a final score of 4-1. The Canadian team scored the first two goals and it was only at 19:01 minutes, when Daniel made a controlled zone entry on the left wing, made a backhand saucer pass to Jones, who spotted Sanderson in the perfect position to shoot and relayed the puck accordingly. With 70% of the work already done, the defence man had no problems to bury the puck. However, only 11 seconds later, Ottawa reinstated their two goal lead and didn't let it slip again. Arpa showed a decent game with a .886 saving rate but was outdone be Red Menace with .964. The special teams were inconsistent with the penalty kill okay-ish (2/3) and the power play inexistent (0/5). The three stars were Vignac (1g/2a), Red Menace (27/28 shots saved) and Live (2g/0a).

Marcel was recorded with 0g, 0a and -1

Daniel had 0g, 1a, +1 and 2 PIM (Hooking, unfortunately lead to a goal against)

The match against the Marlins was won with 4-3. The Californians scored early when only 1:15 minutes were played in the first period. Alas, Janser brothers had something to say about it and showed the Fishes their limits. First Marcel made a pinpoint 40 yard pass to TheGreat, who out danced the whole San Diego defence and selflessly offered the puck to Lamb who only had to tap it in. At the 7:42 minutes mark, Ixazaluoh dug out the puck along the boards and served Jones. The Captain saw Daniel rushing to the net and shot. Byrne could parry but not block the shot and the Swiss reacted fastest on the lose puck and buried it via the far post. The third goal was in power play where the puck was passed around with Mursu and Jp touching the puck last before Daniel scored from the point. One could see that there was more force behind that slapshot than earlier in the season. Which confirms the rumours we heard that the 5' 8'' man was doing extra shifts in the gym to fill up his frame. The Marlins did not give up though and had two unanswered goals to tie the game in the second period. It was Sanderson who decided this encounter with an other power play goal, assisted by Jones and Laperriere. Arpa confirem his good form of the previous match with a .889 performance against Byrne's .871. The power play was pretty efficient (2/7) while the penalty kill was flawless (3/3). The first stars were Daniel (2g/0a), Xavier (1g/1a) and Lamb (1g/0a).

Marcel noted 0g, 1a, -1 and 2 PIM (Hooking, consequently not goal allowed during the ensuing box play)

Daniel logged 2g, 0a, +0 and 5 shots (most of the team)

The second of Daniel's two goals against the Marlins.

The third and final game was against the Marauders and went 4-3 to the Philadelphia team. The Reapers scored four consecutive goals in the first period, within 10 minutes and 1 seconds. Alas, they became complacent and almost had to go via extra time. Bernier (Dokis, Moinet), Laperriere (Dokis, JP), Jp (Bernier, Laperriere) and TheGreat (Mursu, Lamb) scored for the Pennsylvanians. Arpas was again a backbone for his team with a .880 performance compared to Jarvinen's .857. The penalty killing unit did its job (3/4)and if the Reapers' power play was just a tad better (0/8), the match would not have been such a nailbiter for coaching staff and fans alike. Jp fought Sonei and the jury is still out, to declare the winner of the bout. Both players got the intermittent award of a five minutes power break to catch their breath again. The three stars went to Bernier (1g/1a), Laperriere (1g/1a) and Dokis (0g/2a).

Marcel had 0g, 0a and +1

Daniel was noted with 0g, 0a and +0

The Reapers claimed the 5th rank their own, which was the declared goal of the GM. They will have to defend it though in the last two regular season matches against Houston and Ottawa.

The Jansers stats as of now:
