Arpa waits for a call

It's a thrilling time for youngster Miervaldis but with zero calls from scouts in the North American market it looks like he may be skipped over on draft night.

 

"I'm surprised, my team went up to Arizona last week to contact a few executives and they handed out a tape of my junior highlights but my cellphone hasn't blooped and all of my interweb profiles haven't been contacted."

 

On the low chance of a team already knowing this Latvian born gem and they want to keep him in their back pocket, Arpa would be a huge steal for anybody looking for a goaltender who could possibly return for another season. Hopefully after this report some scouts will notice the name and touch base with this up and coming rebound sensation.

 

Miervaldis Arpa, #36 and butterfly style netminder joined the Reapers for a playoff push last season, although they were eliminated early, the man between the pipes shined bright, making the only shutout of the post season. Hopefully we are totally wrong with this report but it's crazy how nobody has sent a message yet.
